I had heard about this RI staple for a while now, and from reading all the other reviews it seems like this is a nostalgic, I-Came-Here-Growing-Up kind of place. Upon entering, you can immediately tell that this place is massive, and still a hot commodity with tons of people waiting for tables. With that, be sure to make a reservation online as they allow for any parties 2+. It was a simple walk up to the check in desk, giving the name on the reservation, and seating 5 minutes later while others (I assume walk-ins) were waiting round the bar area. Upon seating, the friendly waitress explained how everything worked and promptly delivered salad (dressing on the side) and rolls. The dressing is a bit too oily for my taste, and the salad is typical out of the bag mixed lettuce. Very few pieces that were brown/wilted, but overall fine. The rolls were pretty good although, as others state, I wish they came out warmer. Next came the shells + pasta sauce - again, average. The winner, even better than the chicken I dare say, were the fries. They were dark and came out piping hot, and were absolutely delicious. Throw some malt vinegar and salt on there, and I was absolutely ordering multiple plates. The roasted chicken was indeed fall off the bone and had some seasoning to it. Yes, several pieces of the breast will likely be super dry, but ehh it's mass cooked/unlimited so can't expect too much I guess. Second batch of chicken that came out was super hot and even better than the first round. So yes, while I understand the recent price increase likely leaves a poor taste for locals'/those who have frequented over the years, I think that unlimited everything for ~$17 is still a good deal. The only thing you have to pay for a la carte are soft drinks and dessert, the latter of which they have a vanilla and chocolate ice cream roll with a chicken design to it for only $1. Overall I would come back, just make sure you temper your expectations of high quality food for the sheer quantity and homey environment. They also take credit card, and have a steak for offer (~$28) which includes the unlimited chicken and sides as well. Parking was ample when we arrived, but I can definitely see it filling up. The gift shop was actually well stocked, and apparently the thing to get is their fudge.

Lots of locals RAVE about wrights farm. They will tell you it's the best chicken on earth. Seriously. Is it you ask? Absolutely not. Its chicken. Its good dont get me wrong, but the way people talk about it tells me its a comfort thing more than anything. People that have been coming here for years or since they were kids will say its the best. The years I've come here I have never seen the steak. Never seen any pictures online of the steak, not on their website, not on their Facebook nor have I ever seen anyone in the restaurant eat the steak.. They offer chicken or steak. So I figured I'd give the steak a try. The steak was good. The chicken is good. The fries are good. The salad is ok and the rolls are good. I'm authentic Italian so the pasta is not good (don't take my word for it that's just my opinion) very large place and all you can eat. Enormous establishment, bars all throughout the restaurant. They have this cute gift shop with a large variety of candy. Candy I haven't seen since I was a kid. They have fudge. They have clothing and toys and cool odds and ends. The chicken is local. This place is one of a kind. I don't mind coming here. It's grown on me. Again the food is not bad. I just don't think it's the best in the world the way locals say it is. 4 out of 5 stars

I remember we had our senior prom here back in 1987! Have been here a number of times. The food is pretty good. I don't think anything really stands out here. It's family style, which includes chicken, pasta with spaghetti sauce, salad, freeze, rolls, and some ice cream at the end. We did have an issue this time where our salt shaker was filled with sugar, which ended up ruining my son's plate, but it wasn't a real big deal because we ended up just getting more food. Service is pretty good they definitely wait on your hand and foot and make sure you have what you need. The place is humongous. I mean huge! It can get busy at times, but there's plenty of seating. They have a few bars, they even have a lottery booth and then one of the best things is their gift store. We got a couple of packs of candy cigarettes so all of us could have a good smoke after we ate! You can't beat all you can eat. The price is pretty good. If you've never been, it's well worth checking out to see if it's something you want to work into your dinner rotation.

Had the most amazing time. They served us the most plain food imaginable. But it was for a large group so I guess it was good that everyone could eat but -
