Was here on Wednesday this last week ordered a footlong Coney with chili and onions and small fry and drink. Unfortunately my hot dog was more like beef jerky, the bun itself was hard. The french fries look like they have been dropped a couple of times for reheating... some burnt brown. Which ultimately resulted in a meal that went in the garbage. I really hope they do some reamping as to the care for the quality of food they are serving. My concept is to always prepare the food as if you or your own family were eating it. Read moreToday while doing an outing with the training team from Hope Service Dogs, Inc, a 501c3 nonprofit, my task-trained service dog and I entered the new Coney Island hot dog place in Bushnell.
The older man who worked there was ignorant on service dog laws, asking for my service dogs certification card (there are none), and when I informed him that there were no legal certification cards (they are all scams) and instead, according to the ADA, there are two questions that businesses can ask, he interrupted that he knew the laws.
He went on to tell me that according to Florida law, he can deny anyone, and he denies me.
Because I have a service dog.
Because I (apparently) don’t look like I need one (in his opinion).
