This is a short drive from Biglervlle and very easy to find. Just a small building on the side of the road that doesn't seem like much. Don’t let that fool you as there's yummy goodness waiting inside. It is only open for breakfast and lunch, so be aware of that. Reminds me of an olde fashioned family diner. It keeps to the local flavors as there are a lot of different apple foods to get. Well, this is apple country, so it is to be expected. Walkin and sit yourself and get ready for some home cooking. They have a menu board for specials and a regular menu as well. It makes it hard to pick, but you have to narrow it down. I went for the Corned Beef Hash while my wife went for the French Toast specials. I got it later, but I had to have the Scrapple Fries with syrup. The memories of childhood came back as we used to have this when scrapple when I was a kid. The waitress was great and very patient with us. Our coffee never went empty either. It has a pleasant atmosphere and feels like we were part of a family. Plenty of locals were here which tells you just how good the food is here. For the 2 of us, it came to just under $30. They do accept credit cards, but cash is king here. Definitely worth the drive for some delicious home cooking.

Great breakfast, great lunch, awesome desserts! Friendly staff, good music. Perfect atmosphere. Stopped in today to just get dessert! This is their apple fritter sundae. Apple fritter, French vanilla ice cream, caramel, and whipped cream. wow!

It was ok. Down home country kind of place. Could definitely need an update. Food took WAY too long to get to us. And potatoes werent cooked through. Kids liked it.

I always try to support local businesses, but it's hard in this case. Service was super slow given there were few customers, and seemed somewhat disorganized.

Given the name (and the fact that it surrounded by hundreds of acres of orchards) I was disappointed to see their applesauce was from a jar and not homemade. Since they call themselves a bakery, I was equally disappointed to see my sandwich made with slices of what appeared to be store bought toast and a single slice of ham. I was hoping for a fresh baked Kaiser roll, or at least a store bought roll.

The pie was made in house, but really was not good.

Overall, the place is really nice and could be a great spot - but doesn't live up to the expectations you see from the road. I was expecting different apple inspired dishes or drinks, but the menu was boring and the food itself wasn't much better. If they included some fresh baked ingredients and homemade items, it would be great. I hope they consider it in the future, because I'd like to see this...

Sadly I did not get to eat here. I brought a small group of people here early on a Sunday morning (at 5:45) hoping for a 15 minute wait until they opened at 6am (as was clearly posted on their google listing) only to find out that their Sunday hours are not accurate on their listing. Since this place is out in the middle of the country, it was 15 minutes of backtracking to find another place for breakfast which disturbed our schedule for the whole morning. For a place that has 140+ reviews at this point, you would think they have certainly had their listing long enough to learn how to modify the hours for different days. Sorry for the 1 star review. I hope to change it in the future after the consumption of some good food sometime that they are open. Till...
