Great coffee shop and place to eat a tasty meal. I had the owner, Tom's, home-roasted Ethiopian coffee that was a dark roast with blueberry tones. For breakfast I had the filling biscuits and gravy which was full of chunky sausage bits. I had a side of the meat egg bake. Lastly, from the bakery, I had a huge cinnamon roll. I had two boxes of leftovers that I took home. We talked with the kind owners, Tom and Lori, throughout our breakfast and couldn't recommend this restaurant more, thanks.

I am so thankful I found The Beginner’s Sourdough class at Kentucky Millstone. It was a great way to get started baking sourdough bread. Lori is an excellent teacher. She walked us through every step with an explanation for each one, then gave us hands-on experience making our own bread. I’ve made a lot of loaves since taking the class, and every one has been successful using the method and techniques I learned at Kentucky Millstone.

I recently attended a three day bread camp. It was an investment, but definitely worth it. Lori covered an immense amount of information, but also included enough repetition by making different variations to build my confidence by the third day. The class is 100% hands on, so I was really able to see and feel the differences in each type of dough. Each day also included a delicious breakfast and lunch.

Attending a pasta-making class at The Kentucky Millstone was an unforgettable experience filled with warmth, learning, and delicious food.

I attended the class with my best friend (who highly recommended The Kentucky Millstone after attending their sourdough class earlier this year). I had high expectations but was completely blown away. From the second we stepped foot through the door, we were treated like old friends. Lori and Tom were incredibly kind, patient, and informative instructors who went out of their way to cater the class to my dietary restrictions, ensuring I could fully enjoy the experience. We left with full hearts and even fuller bellies. PLUS, we learned how to make several pasta shapes and three incredible sauces.

I have already signed up for two more classes at The Kentucky Millstone and am so excited! If I didn't live an hour and a half away, I would stop by their café as often as I...

I was a student in Lori's Sourdough class and I have to tell you, it was phenomenal. Lori is fantastic. Unlike most chef's, she is a breath of fresh air, and completely low friction, low drag. Being an inexperienced (read never) bread baker, I had everything to learn. Lori's method and instructions are simple and straightforward. Even if you ( I ) did something in an incorrect order -no fluster here - just a great teaching moment of how to recover. She is incredibly observant, answers every question and gives gentle instructions to correct an incorrect method. The recipes we go home with are Very detailed and easy to follow. Very thankful for Lori and this class - will definitely be signing up for future classes. I'm really looking forward to her yeasted...

I wish i would have taken pics i will the next time. If you live in NKY or even southern cincy this place is worth the drive. I bought a little bit of everything, Almond Croissants they were so buttery and fresh best croissants i have ever had and i have been to france numerous times. Macaroons, again i have eaten macaroons at the origins of the cookie, and honestly wasnt really a fan they always were chewy, but these!!! OMG they melted in your mouth those cookies alone are worth the drive. Chocolate chip cookie, homemade cinnamon roll, pumkin spice donut. Everything was just so good, worthy of a big city bakery. I will be going back and you should go too, its a beautiful drive and the people are so nice. Dont forget to try to the biscuits...
