Clyde's Saloon — Restaurant in Cadogan Township

My family and I have always loved Clyde's Saloon, well until tonight that is. My wife and I took my two year old son there to get some dinner. We ordered him chicken tenders like we normally do and they came out completely raw! I quietly told the server ( Because I hate to make a scene in restaurants) and he had the cook to make us another batch. When the second batch came out I checked them like I did with the first and they too were raw. This time I was not waiting for more. I told the waitress to just take the chicken tenders off the bill because we wont be paying for raw food that we are not going to eat. The owner decided to make a big ordeal saying that no one complains about his food and how the chicken tenders are checked with a thermometer everytime ( But apparently the last two times were exceptions to that rule). I can completely understand that mistakes happen, and sometimes they happen twice. That's fine I'm not out to get anything for free or cause a big ordeal. But don't expect me to passively feed my child raw chicken. And when you make a mistake be prepared to answer for it. I didn't want my meal comped. I didn't want anything or free. I just wasn't going to pay for raw food that is not suitable for human consumption. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE CHICKEN BEFORE YOU EAT IT! Obviously the owner at Clydes Saloon are not aware of the dangerous food borne illnesses that come from eating...

We met a local who recommended that we stop by and try out the bar fries here. Seasoned fries, smoothered in nacho cheese with crumbled bacon and melted shredded cheese. My husband ordered a couple of sides of ranch to dump over the top. Wow! This is all kinds of unhealthy goodness.

The slushy drinks are probably the best bang for your buck here. A couple of beers and a One of the long-islands, was more than suitable for the evening.

Our server was named Morgan. What a competent young lady. She was attentive and fast. Between bar tending, waiting and bussing tables -- she was getting it done.

My boyfriend and I have been in there several times and won’t be back when the owners daughter is working.....last night Jess the first bartender was wonderful, great personality and definitely knows what she’s doing as far as bartending skills. When the owners daughter came in and switched shifts the whole atmosphere changed, she didn’t even put a new orange in my bfs beer thinking he wouldn’t notice, needless to say he did. Before she got there we played 15 songs on the juke box and she turned it off after it played 5. I would suggest not going there when she works, find out the work schedule and only go when Jess...
