Frosty Frez — Restaurant in Cajah's Mountain

So last night around 6:00 I went through the drive thru and ordered my family some dinner. We felt like eating light and I got myself a Bologna Sandwich on white bread, with 2 hotdogs, and a chocolate shake. I ordered my daughter a Ham and cheese sandwich on white bread with fries and my fiancé a double cheeseburger with chili and fries. The lady tells me “The order is $33 and some change” I said “okay” and handed her my card. When I do this, this is where things get sketchy. She then says “there will be a small fee for using the card” I said okay no problem , not questioning the extra charge because it’s normally $1-$2. She says “do you want a receipt” and I said no thank you it’s just trash. TRUSTING the establishment to be honest. I then pull out and see my bank transaction come through and it was $43!!? So it was a $10 fee for me to use my debit card? The food is already pretty pricy at $33, but $43? Now I’m just mad.. I don’t blame the establishment but I do think that lady...

Let's get the easy stuff out of the way first. The Food? It's good, it's real good. A bit on the high side of pricing, but worth what you pay. The problems I have with this establishment, this particular Frosty Frez, is the workers, out of five different visits, only one has been a pleasurable interaction. The employees are extremely rude, be it on the phone, or in person. I understand everyone has off days, but the consistency of the hateful behavior really makes it hard for me to want to go there to even just order to go. Just having the employees smile and ACT friendly would probably turn a lot of reviews like this into more positive...

The best part of frosty frez is the brown gravy which has been changed since a new owner took over. Unless the gravy is changed back, I won’t be eating here again. This is the only reason I get food from frosty frez in the first place. They’ve had the same gravy for yearssss and it’s suddenly been changed. Sawmills gravy is something you can get in the grocery store. It was not good. I was so upset with my order the other day. They even changed it without notice. I know I’m not the only one to complain either. Please change...
