Okay, so my first review was based off of my first visit to this location. Obviously a lot has changed from my first visit to now. This is the only subway that is close enough to my house that I don’t have to drive 20+ minutes one way. Since going here I’ve seen staff change at least 4 times. There are a few people that have been semi rude each time, their attitude is very “I don’t like my job” The most irritating part about this location is that every single time I go in, they are always out of several things, every time. There isn’t a single time that I have gone in and gotten everything I would like to have on my sub. And honestly I don’t come here often, maybe a few times a month or less. This being the only subway that is less than 20 minutes from my house is very disappointing. The fact that they never have stock, shows the manager fails to order new weekly stock to make it through the week. The attitude of the employees just make people feel unwelcome. Read moreThis place has went so downhill. My son ate subway 4 to 5 times a week up until recently. We gradually went down to about twice a month within the last year, and they still can’t get it right. First off, it is absolutely disgusting for someone to drag a bracelet up and down my sub as they make it. Then I say something, only for a glove to be pulled up, an attitude given, and the bracelet to fall back out with the charm dragging across my sub again. So I no longer eat a this subway but my son wanted to stop. So we stopped again last week. At the register, I give the girl $20.35 for a bill that is $10.35. She hands me the change back that I had given her and I say no I want a $10 back, she tells me I’ve already mashed the button. I said OK well I want a $10 back. She was so confused. After about 5 minutes, she had to get a manager. Why is she running the register without supervision, if she can’t count money? That was just my last two experiences at this subway. Read moreBeen coming here for years and food is decent but Valdese location is much better right now due to several things. Is there a way to find out owner name and contact number? I am wondering if the owner is aware that a certain set of employees do not answer the phone at all, and turn all the lights off on sign and in dining a couple of hours before actual closing, keep the drive thru closed, and sit out back? I have noticed business has dropped considerably - you would think the owner would be concerned. And when you go in to order, they act like it’s an imposition. The last time we went, one of them was cleaning the drink machine and set all the “cleaned” parts right on the cash register counter (where we were trying to pay) and also where everyone touches and leaves/handles money.
