EDIT: Updating my review. Though the situation that happened still deserves 1 star, the way the GM, Spencer handled everything today after he called me, deserves 5 stars. I truly appreciated that he took time out of his day to call and discuss what happened. He went above and beyond to make a bad situation better. That is how you manage a business! Thank you, Spencer!
I have been to this establishment numerous times. Actually met my husband here 10 years ago. I have always had a great experience and love the food. However, tonight was much different. My girlfriends and I placed a to-go order and had it delivered just down the street. My order was not included and a side dish was also left out. No big deal, as things like this can happen. My friend who placed the order called up to the restaurant to inform them they forgot a couple things. They offers to make it and deliver it but it would be another hour. We asked to just come pick up the missing flatbread and strawberries and we were told it would be 30+ minutes. They offered us a credit to the restaurant. My friend very calmly said, that was not an acceptable timeframe as we were all sitting down to eat dinner and we would just like a refund. The woman she spoke to said she would need to get her manager. Again, that was totally fine. The manager Brooke got on the phone and literally started screaming at my friend (she put it on speaker phone) saying that we were wrong and offered to credit us less than the amount of the food we had already purchased. She was trying to explain to this manager that she wasn’t even crediting the full amount and this manager Brooke lost her mind. She was screaming and talking so fast. Never in my life have I experienced customer service like this. Especially when the establishment was 100% at fault. They didn’t just forget to deliver the meal, they didn’t make it at all. Again, things happen and I get it. I was a waitress for almost 10 years. The first thing you learn is how to speak to a customer. Mario, Brooke is not who you want on the other end of the phone when your kitchen staff makes a mistake, I can promise you that. The most disrespectful, rude manger I have ever...
Read moreWhatever you do, do not purchase anything To-go. I’ve made several to-go purchases and I’ve been disappointed every time.
The last two orders (on separate occasions), I ordered the ‘Crispy Chicken Salad’ for $11.99. The first time, I was livid. The amount of chicken was a joke. The salad itself was the portion of a house salad. Tomatoes? 2 little half slices.
I thought it was an anomaly, so I ordered again. Nope. Same thing. The first time I tried to ‘understand’ and thought to myself ‘well, because of COVID and everything being take out only, they are clearly cutting corners (at long time customers expense).
This last time, their parking lot is jammed and they are basically fully functioning and they are still charging for full size salads and only providing house salad portions.
As for the customer service? Rude (in the to-go area) and understaffed in the restaurant. If you get frustrated at the long wait times for service in the restaurant - they don’t care. They still expect you to tip as generous as you always do and if not (tips are based on quality of service; my standard is 20% - better quality, 30-40%. That said, I’m not afraid to leave 15% if so deserved to get my point across the servers was THAT Bad) , expect hell the next time you come in. That’s why I’m no longer a regular.
It has been a totally waste of money and several different occasions with to-go. The ONLY reason I ‘try’ again is because of their hours. Big mistake. I won’t waste my time or money every again.
I also use to be an almost daily regular indoors. Staffing is ALWAYS understaffed. When you wait 45 minutes for a SALAD at LUNCH time, you know there is a problem. The only reason I was a regular was for the regular customers (who are hilarious) not because of the customer service. Avoid the bar at all costs. Unless you are MAN tipping ridiculous amounts of money - if you are a female regular, you are last on their list.
I’ll never spend a dime here again and I have spent a TON of...
Read moreWe were just there L3 group had 35 people or more. They set up a buffet pizza salad, breadsticks marinara sauce when they first set it up look good, when people went up to get food there was no one to tell that you put it need to put that on their tab. No one at the counter from people did not get charged for the food that they ate so my wife who set this thing up was somehow responsible for $189 bill saying only four people eat pizza. There was more like 15 than eight. I know they brought pizzas and again no one pays attention but when it was time for people to leave after drinking and talking to people he hadn’t seen in Years They paid their bill and left not getting charged for their Food. The lady that ran the buffet said that only four people ate and that she owed this money to compensate for what they had put up. They said we could take the pizza Was left home. See pictures below. The pizza was so hard and overcooked they let it cook heat lamp it wasn’t even edible. I went right in the trash thanks to some kind souls that were still there that didn’t eat. They help chip in to pay for this bill. I feel it should not have been our responsibility was not explained to us that we were responsible for See if this makes sense making sure everyone got charged for their bill the overall experience the fun we had was only scarred by the type of food they were sharing unless you ate early and then people were not charged for their food so they want to charge somebody else they don’t have anybody there to control or charge the people that eat? It’s not my job your job was to find the people that eat and charge them. They were all drinking so people are not going to notice that they’re not getting charged $14 for two pieces of pizza and a salad. Probably be our last time we use your place for such an endeavor overall...
