In town for a tube trip and stopped here on recommendation from a friend for drinks and dinner. Special of the day was Salmon florentine so I immediately wanted to try it. Girlfriend said that’s what she wanted so I got the brisket wrap so we could share and try both. Let me tell you, the brisket in the wrap was amazing. Some of the best I’ve had. I smoke a lot of meat so I’m quite picky and I was immediately impressed. Tried the girlfriend’s salmon and it was delicious as well. Not normally one to leave reviews, but I tried coming here for a night of my friends bachelorette party for dinner. Called days ahead to reserve but they don’t do reservations, so when we arrived we were handed a buzzer and told we’d be seated once one of the next big tables cleared in about 30 min. After 45 min of waiting outside and no buzzing, we went back in and found out that they decided to remove our name from the waitlist and not inform us. Smokey’s Mountain will surely become a Hubbard Lake area favorite. Totally renovated inside and out, it features expanded hours, a unique, fresh menu with choices for everyone’s taste, and a variety of wine, beer, and cocktail options. Service is fast and friendly, ambience is upscale casual with extra large big screen TVs, and a freshly paved, massive parking lot.
