Buddy's Sports Grill @ Mulligan's Mini Golf — Restaurant in Caledonia

This was a terrible experience. Ordered online fish fry, one perch one cod. We set pick up time for 6:50 making it perfect for bf to stop on his way to my house. Got a text that it was done at 6:15. Normally early is great, except when you plan for a much later time and don't live close enough to just zip over and get it. We called to say we can't get it now we want it at the time we specified. Nope. Was told we'd have to wait an additional hour 15 min (which would now be 30 min past our original pick up time). Are you kidding me? Guess I'm eating eating cold fish or reheating so its rubbery.

That all could have been overlooked with the virus situation and all, had the dinners been decent. I can't even say that. My bf got 4 nice large pieces of perch, while I got 3 of the tiniest pieces of cod (with half the batter missing and the rest undercooked) I have ever received from any restaurant. The french fries were also undercooked and soggy. The fish was thrown right on top of the fries to drip more grease on them, then the butter was thrown in between so it completely melted. I had no butter for my bread, but plenty melted all over my fries, making them even more soggy, greasy, and inedible. Absolute waste of what little money we have to spend right now. I was really looking forward to a nice fish dinner for Good Friday. What a joke. Will never get food from...

It needs to be said how amazing this place is! From the inside out! Im biased because it is my favorite place, but in all reality it really is one of the best in town. The staff is incredible, the food is consistent, amazing, and sooo many options which none are a bad one! Although you can get good food and fun places at other venues, it’s what you feel when you are there. This can’t be trained, it can’t be bought, and it is far and few in between! You are not just a patron, you are treated like family. As a woman, to go into a place and not once question if it’s safe or you’ll be treated with respect is not always a guarantee. But here, you get all that and then some! I recommend this spot to everyone, so much as, they have truly become a part of our family for all major events! We go to be able to celebrate even with them! But I have to shoutout Santos and Vincente for their compassion, patience with the children, special requests, and true genuine care! Our squad loves you guys and we appreciate you more than ever! But even outside that amazing duo, every other staff member is absolutely phenom! Me and my girlfriend visited buddy sports grill in Caledonia for their elf pop-up bar event and had the BEST TIME!!! I kid you not this right now is the funnest bar in Racine county I have found they have wall to wall decorations a lively energetic crowd the feel of Christmas and elf all around and a drink menu that you have to see and try to believe I went with the twirly swirly gumdrop drink that was off the charts amazing with raspberry sherbert that gave the drink a frothy taste I really enjoyed while my partner went with the son of a nutcracker drink with vanilla vodka Bailey's and toppings which she said might be her new favorite drink at buddies and they were both served by our favorite bartender Santos who we always look forward to seeing whenever we visit because he has a great personality and probably the nicest bartender we ever met so just getting to talk to him for a little while it's always worth a visit by itself. I hope anybody visiting buddies is lucky enough to visit this month during their elf pop-up event because me and my partner went to the other elf pop up bar in Milwaukee and we both agree that buddies is the better of of the two but both are still worth checking out although only buddies has the throne of lies shot so definitely make sure to stop...
