New to the area. My wife loves Papa John’s. I’ve been in Calera since December and we’ve probably ordered 7 times since we’ve been here. Every time I’ve pizza here it’s been under done and doughy. I had a late night at work and ordered wings and papadia tonight with cinnamon pull aparts my ticket was over $30 dollars. When I pulled up to the order window for my food I looked at the wings and they had just a drizzle of sauce on them. They did not at all have any coverage to them at all. And this is not at all a complaint about the food not looking like the picture. But I did not receive what was represented. After receiving these abysmal wings I took them back to the manager and without hearing what I had to say she said she’d remake them after bare hand touching my food and said this is how they come. While waiting for the wings the manager was playing with the hair of an employee and the back kitchen staff was taking about people complaining and spiting in food. Also every employee pulled their phone out and played with it when work stopped and never washed their hands. After waiting for the wings again they were not at all that was represented. I asked for my money back and the manager returned my money. I went for my phone in the car to get my phone to take down a number and the manager told me come back next time with shoes on. I never expected the service I got nor I never expected to get out of my car. The manager stated that she could not give me the managers phone number and told me to come back when her manager opens. We ordered take out, my wife took the dog for a walk to pickup our order. when she got there she was told they didn't have an order for her. she called me, and walked back home. I called the store and was told yes, we have your order. Great can you just deliver it us and I'll pay when it gets here, is what I said and they agreed ..it never got here. I called the next day and spoke with "the manager" she had an attitude from hello, she said "if you want to pick it up, order take out. if you want to pay for delivery, order delivery." I wanted it delivered but didn't think I should have to pay your $4.95 delivery charge when you couldn't hold an order yesterday or deliver my order when you did find it, so no, you should definitely deliver my order without anymore delays and I will pay for the other and tip the driver but I will not pay your delivery fee. I literally live across the street from this location. we have been regulars for a long time, sad to see you go by the wayside Papa Johns, and good luck to the bitter young lady I spoke with. consider honey, its better than the vinegar falling out of your mouth. and maybe look up the definition of customer services or get yourself out of the service industry, I think everyone would really...

I was rudely told by one of the immature employees that their system did not drop my order and it would be 3 hours to get my order because my call ahead order had zero priority. When I asked for their managers name I was told phoney names and I was hung up on. I called back and the "so called manager" was even more rude than the first person I spoke with and I was hung up on again. I called the GM the following morning only to be met with rude behavior again and was called liar. The kids who worked there said I cussed them out. That was a lie. I called another Papa Johns location whom told me that the call ahead orders are priority over all other orders and that they lied because they simply just didn't do their job. They also said people complain about their service at the Calera location al the time, and they were ashamed of this location having their store logo treating customers this way.
