We were traveling from Southern California to Arizona and stopped to eat dinner at this resturaunt on the 11th of November 2021.
Although the handicapped parking is very conveniently located the layout of the resturaunt is NOT wheelchair friendly. We were with Somebody in a standard sized push wheelchair. There are 2 entrance doors, one right after the other, that swing outwards towards You and that are barely wide enough to fit a person in a wheelchair through. It was very hard to open the doors pulling towards You and push Somebody in a wheelchair forward through the doors at the same time. Plus, it's even harder to swing the second door towards You to push a person in a wheelchair through because You have the door behind You that You just entered trying to close and there's not enough space between the 2 doors to allow the first door to close and be able to open the second door to push a person in a wheelchair forward through. So, I just wonder How a disabled person that is by Themselves would get through the 2 doors. ?
After You get through the 2 awkward doors and You enter the dining room area at the front of the resturaunt there is no employee there to greet You and lead You to a table. In fact there is a sign that You see right as You get through the 2 awkward doors that says "Please Seat Yourself"!
Our waitress was not attentive or polite and wasn't smiling, as if She's just going through the repetitive and redundant semantics of Her job and doesn't really enjoy Her job.
After We were sat at a table I noticed that the table had a sticky film on it, asked the waitress to please clean it, She came over and rapidly wiped down the table while moving everything out of the way on Our table, didn't dry the table and left the table with moisture all over the table. She took Our order with no enthusiasm in Her voice or body language and walked away. The expensive price You pay is not worth the serving size of...
Read moreStopped here on my way back home to Vegas as I had fueled up across the street at the Pilot gas station. Decided to eat here versus waiting for you black bear diner in Barstow. Ordered the three egg scramble omelette with cottage cheese… Along with sourdough oast. How much was pretty good as well as the cottage cheese… The sourdough toast was incredible… thic slices of bread with a lot of melted butter. Coffee was served in a plastic carafe so I can refill the coffee myself, which was nice. Even though I was seated right away and given my coffee right away the service with my waitress was a little bit hit and miss older blonde lady. She would walked by and never asked if everything was OK and even after she has seen my empty plate never offered if I needed anything else like dessert. Had to repeatedly ask her to bring me the check… don’t know if she was just having a bad day or maybe I’m just ugly but oh well lol. I still wanna come back because it has a pretty good vibe to the place and I like supporting local businesses as opposed to chain ...
Read moreAnytime our family goes through Four Corners on a trip we stop at the Roadhouse Restaurant for breakfast. In the past we have come in a small party of 4 up to a caravan of about 20. The wait staff have always been incredibly kind and this is by far the best place to eat at Four Corners. They have a great breakfast selection, are reasonably priced and what my boys love...large portions. The biscuits and gravy were spot on, the southwest scramble with avocado I had was delicious, the hash browns were golden brown with just the right level of crispiness, the toast was actually well toasted and buttered, and everyone’s eggs were made correctly. These are all the great attributes for a restaurant to have. The pastry case was full of different baked treats and everything I have had thus far hasn’t disappointed me. This was our first time back since COVID hit and they are taking proper safety precautions, the wait staff was still kind and attentive, and our food came out in a timely order. *I have yet to try...
