$5 Pizza Place — Restaurant in California

The Yelp check-in is a steal! Their wings were delicious. We ordered the spicy buffalo but I overheard them talking to the customer after us about some special. I vaguely remember them saying it was a mixture of buffalo, bbq, and teriyaki. I will definitely be trying those next time because it sounded delicious.

There is not very much indoor seating but we got lucky and were able to grab a seat until our order was ready. Our order came out pretty quickly. We purchased some ranch and had to remind them to give it to us with our order which was fine. However, we did ask for some plates and if they had any cheese and red peppers. The employee seemed a bit annoyed with our questions and only provided us with two very thin paper plates - for a large pizza. They were pretty busy and were moving quickly so I understand the urgency but two plates... that was a bit frustrating.

We took our order to go and had a long drive back to our place. When we got back, the pizza and wings were not super warm (not their fault at all, we were pretty far!) but they still tasted yummy. I would like to go back and eat their pizza and wings nice and hot because I am sure they are even better!

The place does seem a bit sketchy at first since it is next to a gas station and we went at night but it was fine and well worth it! Cost is reasonable and the food is great. I definitely recommend...

Found this place after trying to get food delivery in Joshua Tree after many attempts. It definitely was not close to $5 so I'm not sure why the name. Fine. Whatever. So the lady takes our order and I thought it was pretty seamless; we ordered a personal BBQ chicken pizza and garlic bread. $18 something for delivery. She quoted 40 minutes to an hour. Delivery guy came in an hour. The pizza was burned/overcooked meaning crust was clearly black and although the toppings were nice and crispy, it was clearly overcooked. The garlic bread was very dry and had no flavor. It tasted like old tossed out bread. The delivery driver was nice but then like I gave a tip and the price he gave me was a few dollars more so the lady didn't include the delivery fee in our price. So instead of $18 something it was over $21 something plus the delivery drivers 15% tip. So over $24 for burned dry food. The garlic bread was a waste of money in all totality it was not edible and the pizza being burned I was real unhappy this was our last and only choice of an open delivery...

So here's my review. I called them for a delivery because I wasn't feeling well, however the driver was out sick. Not a shocker. Its almost impossible to find help nowadays. With that being said, I decided to drive there myself. I'm not going to hold that against them period. I ordered 2 Large pizza's, 10 piece chicken strip, a ham and cheese sandwich, and 2L Pepsi. They came to my car to drop off the food and were extremely nice, especially considering how swamped they were with orders. I must have seen 15 people picking up their food in the 10 minutes I was waiting. My order came out to $38 for everything! It would have cost $60+ anywhere else. As far as the food goes, the pizza's were perfect! The secrets in the sauce! The sandwich was equally good as were the huge chicken strip! This place kills it! Highly recommended.
