The food here is absolutely amazing! This is the best Mexican food I have ever eaten in my entire life! I am well-traveled and have eaten Mexican food all over the US and Mexico. Homemade from scratch, there is not one processed or artificial ingredient on the plate. Everything is fresh and portions are large. Prices are reasonable. This little gem is well worth the journey if you enjoy authentic Mexican food. Situated near the shore of the Salton Sea, you’ll find a quaint and simple restaurant serving a satisfying assortment of traditional lunch and dinner fare, and breakfast too. This place is busy on the weekends, weeknights are fairly quiet. Takeout is available. They have an “A” rating from the health department. The owner was very sweet and took time to chat with me during my visit. She is humble and cooks every meal with the help of her daughter. Each dish is infused with love and tastes delicious! I think it goes without saying, that was the best burrito I have ever consumed. I don't know if it was secret sauce that mixed with the melted cheese and the pico de gallo to create heaven on earth or the perfectly cooked carne asada that I wished stayed in my stomach longer. This place is the bomb !!! Got hungry after hiking ladders canyon and came across this place. Food was absolutely delicious !
