Updating my listing because Beidgehead Cafe is "Under New Ownership"!

As before, the food was great here and the service was even better. I had the Eggs Benedict and it was spot on. I wasn't happy that I had to pay a $1.00 extra for a few slices of onions but it is what it is. Other places never charge me extra for a few slices of onions.

Other than that, thank you for the delicious breakfast. The food server was very nice and always makes sure my son and I have a great experience here!

Update for September 2nd 2023, lots of expansion has taken place. Outside dining has been revamped and is looking great. Inside has been cleaned up and the booth seeting has been reupholstered. Bridgehead cafe now serves alchohol and stays open late for dinner.

They offer Friday Night Karaoke. So the new ownership has definitely made lots of great improvements.

The food was delicious as usual and staff was very friendly - BUT.....

Now for the Bad. I would definitely give Bridgehead Cafe a D- or flat out F for this.

Got there, was not greeted at all when coming inside, despite all staff. It was Saturday Morning and lots of workers were there and even made eye contact when I entered. I guess I'm spoiled by their usual friendly greetings everytime I entered inside. Well there was none of that this told.

We took our seat and it was 45 minutes before we were even acknowledged, brought our silverware settings and asked for our drink orders. The new ownership probably does not want to hear that, but the initial entry experience was very poor today and I heard 2 other separate customers complaining about the long wait they had as well which lead me to update this listing.

After placing my order, it was another 15 to 20 minutes before we received our food.

Now don't get me wrong, the food was excellent, once we finally got our meals. The wait times and lack of or no customer attention at all for 45 minutes was horrible. At one point I looked at my watch and picked a time that if we were not greeted, I was just going to stand up and leave. Luckily we were finally greater after 45 minutes, our drink orders were taken and shortly after that or food order was taken.

I would have at least like to have been greeted and maybe just let us know that your super busy and it's going to be a while, rather than just leaving me and my other party sit there in suspense and getting agitated after 45 minutes of no, zero, nada customer service at all. They just need to make improvements in this area and everything...

This morning We had breakfast with a family member we rarely see. This place was recommended by a family friend. It was very disappointing. I had the two egg chicken fried steak breakfast. I specifically told them to make sure that the egg was cooked correctly. I informed the waitress I wanted the white not runny.I even asked her to please make sure it was done. My sister in law also reiterated my concern with her order. It took almost an hour to get undercooked ice cold food. My sister-in-law sausage was rancid. It was foul. Her plate looked like someone barged on it. The egg was barely Solidified. By the time we got our meal, we were starving so we kind of filled up on our toast and hashbrowns. We had places to go so we didn’t have time to have them fix it, but I intend on calling down there and making a complaint. Our meals was over $70. It was a Sunday morning, so it was busy and I did not have time to get a refund. The service was good, although it appeared as though the waitress was overworked and they were understaffed for Sunday morning. I was really disappointed in this place. I really wanted to enjoy it. My stomach was torn up all day. It was gross under cooked ice cold food that took forever to be served.

Don’t go here unless you enjoy throwing your money down the toilet for...

Just had the best time here! Lusanna was our server and she was excellent! The owner came out and said hi, my aunt & her husband are regulars (you can tell by how everyone knew them). My aunt and her husband ordered the Pork Chop special (two 8 oz pork chops, 3 eggs, toast, and home fries) it was a ton of food! I ordered the blueberry banana homemade French toast, it was definitely home cooking! I tried it with syrup but ended up eating it without syrup because the flavor is phenomenal! I also got the full order of biscuits and gravy to split with my husband, it was good but I added more pepper, I should have asked for sausage gravy but I have left overs of the French toast and biscuits with gravy. Hubby got the Chili Cheese Omelet! I can admit I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! I would have never thought to put that together ❤ orange juice came in a large cup and coffee ☕ had free refills. I'll come visit the next time...

The best breakfast place I have been in a long long time. From the moment we sat down the waitress (JANELLE) was nice. we told her we've never been and she explained everything on the menu, what is popular and more. I truly loved the food I got, the country fried steak and I am always so hesitant because many times the gravy tends to be very peppery which kills it for me. This gravity was fantastic, the steak was super fresh, flavorful and crispy. The hashbrowns came out nice and crispy best hashbrowns I have ever had. My sister ordered the cinnamon roll French toast which is literally made with a homemade cinnamon roll. That was delicious we got an additional cinnamon roll to try to recreate the French toast at home jiji. We live like 30 min away from this place wish it was closer but when I'm in the area i will surelly visit them again. KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB!!!!!
