Living in Discovery Bay is a privilege, with its beautiful waterfront and close connection to nature. However, our location's isolation and smaller population can make it challenging to attract small businesses. That's why Callahan's Coffee and Cones is such a gem in our community.

This ice cream shop makes all its ice cream from scratch in-house, and the flavors change daily, which keeps things exciting. I recently tried their orange creamsicle, and it was absolutely amazing. The staff is always friendly and helpful, making every visit a pleasant experience.

Discovery Bay’s alternative to Starbucks was a great little stop on our way in to check out how summer was kicking off during Memorial Day weekend.

This quaint coffee shop has decor ranging from cows and country kitsch to nautical- which may sound odd but totally nails the CA Delta vibe!

They offer very decent coffee drinks and milk alternatives, as well as flavored syrups. The barista/ice cream counter attendant was polite, informative and friendly.

This must be a favorite with the local residents, seasonal residents and vacationers, too.

Yaaaah I’m going to go ahead and rescind my last review. The wait was painfully long for anything. Not sure what happened to this place but we received the saddest, most expensive scoops of ice cream in our entire life at this place. On top of that, the person behind the counter that handles the money used their bare hands to scoop the ice cream along with the scooper. Absolutely disgusting and unhygienic, all set with this place. Didn’t even eat what we ordered, threw in the trash. Ohh yah and they ran out of ice cream cups and cones, seriously?!
