Update: Wednesday, November 6, 2024 PM It’s been a couple months since we’ve been here. Which is unusual because this is pretty much our favorite Mexican restaurant. Good food tonight… Chicken taco and a chili relleno! And of course as always, superb service. You eat here a couple of times and the servers will remember you. They are sprucing up the place with paint and reupholstered booths. Looking really nice inside. They have a nice patio in front but it’s getting kind of cool to eat outside now. If you haven’t been here, it’s worth trying. In the last couple months we tried two or three other Mexican restaurants but this is still our favorite! ——————— Update: Wednesday, May 29, 2024 PM. NOTE: They are closed on Saturdays! Another great meal here! Gravy with cheese. An order of flour tortilla chips! I had chili rellenos. Hit the spot. My son had two chicken enchiladas with grilled chicken. He loved them. As always… Excellent service! NOTE: They are closed on Saturdays! ————————

Update: Monday, December 18, 2023 PM We are here probably 2 to 3 times a week. We enjoy the food. The servers are awesome! We know what to order and what we can expect. Tonight I tried something different with the grilled chicken salad. It was very good. Thousand Island dressing is good. My son ordered his two enchiladas…this time with grilled chicken and only the light gravy. He said they were probably the best enchiladas he’s ever had. Angelica is an awesome server. Friendly and very efficient. All the servers are excellent. They will make sure that your glass of soda or water is never empty! You’ve got to order the deep-fried ice cream for dessert‼️ If you’ve never been here, give them a try!

———————- Update: Saturday, December 9, 2023 PM Ever since we rediscovered Casa Flores a couple months ago we’ve been back several times. It has become our favorite Mexican restaurant. My son gets his usual…two cheese enchiladas à la la cart with the light gravy. I have been ordering two chicken tacos à la cart. I have had a couple of different ways the tacos are made here. The first one…they deep-fry the taco shell and chicken together which makes the chicken hard and almost like jerky. The second and BEST way is to ask them to put the chicken in after they deep-fry the taco shell. Then the chicken will be soft, moist and very delicious. Now that I found that out, that will be the only way I order from now on. Give them a try!

———————- It’s literally been years since I’ve been here. This used to be on our Mexican restaurant rotation and then we started going to Don Luis. But since Don Luis is not as good as it used to be, we’re trying different Mexican restaurants again. Chips and salsa were good. The fountain Diet Pepsi was excellent! For dinner I ordered the combination plate which included a beef taco, chicken enchilada, chili relleno, chili verde, rice and beans. The rice and beans were excellent. Chili Verde was good. Chili relleno was tiny with way too much batter. Chicken enchilada was good. The beef taco was MISERABLE! Tough and chewy. Not fresh at all. Certainly not cooked to order. I don’t demand much from restaurant food but the one thing that’s important to me is that it’s cooked hot and fresh. Disappointed. The service was OK. Couple of times I had to get the servers attention to get a refill on my drink but all in all it was satisfactory. I’m going to have a hard time getting past the bad taco. I’m not certain we will return here. This is a convenient stop for travelers going through town on Highway 99. It’s only about a half a mile east of Highway 99! Cozy little restaurant. That's twice in a row I've ordered food and I've asked for tortillas it's the 2nd time I asked for tortillas I ordered 3 dinners she was only gonna give me 2 I said I had 3 dinners I need 3 tortillas we get home and I after asking several times did you put the tortillas in she said yes very rude I get home and what do you know no tortillas 2nd time in a row I talked to the owner and he believes his waitress I said how do you know you wasn't there of course she's gonna tell you she wasn't rude and she put the tortillas in the bag well I use my tortillas to eat the rice and beans I called back the waitress says come get some tortillas by time I would get back there and back home my food would be coldI have to admit the food is good but that's twice in a row of lousy service The 2nd time I didn't get tortillas I called back they wouldn't even answer And after reading the reviews I guess I'm not the only one that doesn't get Tortillas And for 3 dinners I get 2 small bags of chips very small and 2 small Salsas Is very dissatisfied this time even after talking to the owner and of course the waitress is gonna say I was nice and yes we put the tortillas in the bag I didn't want to write a review but I want what I pay for and ask for for I'm really upset because this is...

First of all, I would like to say that I have been visiting this restaurant for years and have never had a bad experience yet! no restaurant is perfect, but this restaurant is close... their food is always delicious and I have tried many many dishes there... the staff has always been super courteous, and efficient. I have never had to wait very long for service. This place can become a little crowded during lunch and dinner time but that is to be expected when the food is as good as Casa a Flores restaurant is.... I am blown away in the fact that the owner Ramone comes to your table to check on how the food quality is and if there is anything else he can get for you... that is awesome customer service!!! I also like the fact that they have specials on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday nights...
