Casa Reveles Restaurant — Restaurant in California

NEVER AGAIN!!!!! My wife and I have visited Reveles multiple times with a different, yet failing, experience everytime. The 1st time was cool...about 4 years ago, great service, speedy drinks etc.

After that, 10 to 15 ninute wait to order drinks....choppy service with long intermissions between chip bowls to even order dinner! On the 2nd version of that...we came out about 20 bucks higher on our tab than the previous trip. (ordered exactly same food and drink setups)

Tonight, we did a double date and it got EVEN WORSE!!! The four of us sat at a freshly wiped table, ordered drinks thru the busboy. Approx. 15 minutes later...they showed. By then we were thru the 2nd teeny bowl of chips, and it took another 20 minutes to order the food.

After waiting what easily felt like a solid 30 minutes...we noticed the table across from us being served, and they were seated AFTER US!!! We had to ask about the whereabouts of our meals, and the busboy said he would look into it. 15 minutes later it was just time to go. I got tired of yelling to have a conversation over the tragic kareoke anyhow.

My $.02 - Save yourself the 1.5 hour premeal agony for a $7 to $9 burrito or $15 to $17 plate and grab a burger at Fat Ivors. They saved us...

We have been to this restaurant several times and everything we’ve had was delicious. The problem is the pricing. The last time we went they charged us a $3.00 fee to use our debit card. They only give you one small bowl of chips and salsa for a party of four. If you want more you’re charged for it. This time we were asked by the waiter if we wanted some pickled carrots with the chips and salsa so I said yes thinking it was like most other restaurants where they a complimentary, but they weren’t and cost $5 for a small bowl. This is unfortunate because I know we would probably eat there at least once a week or more if it wasn’t for these types of things and I bet we are not the only locals that...

If I could leave no stars I would, shame on them for serving carne full of fat and that artery looking stuff, don't know what its called but if you ever bite into you know what i mean. Not only did we wait 1.5 hours for our meal but the food was nasty. I'm so disappointed because in previous visits we didn't have an issues, the only real sit down Mexican place in town. I'm kinda upset still for being charged/paying for any of the food we received, we barely ate anything. Just to get the waiter to our table was 45mins. Huge disappointment!
