After spending a few days at Hume Lake, this cafe was recommended to us by someone saying, “You HAVE to stop here on your way back”. So we did. And it was worth it. You can tell the bagels are freshly made and menu offers lots of different bagel sandwich options. We stopped in around 10:30am and the place was packed. Stood in line for about 15 minutes and then waited an additional 20 minutes for our food. The interior has lots of cozy seating options, so I recommend dining in. There were also tables outside with umbrellas for shade. We ordered the Cali Ring (turkey, avocado, provolone and sauce) on a jalapeño bagel and the Basic Ring (sausage quiche and sauce) on a jalapeño bagel. The bagels came cut in half which was perfect for sharing. We noticed that those who ordered a scone and a drink had a far less wait time than those who ordered sandwiches, so if you’re in a rush, order online ahead of time or just grab one of their baked goods. We also had a vanilla latte which was very sweet. The atmosphere is aesthetic, but with the large amount of people waiting in line and a couple groups with screaming children, it’s harder to enjoy the food peacefully. It seemed like they could use an extra pair of hands on staff when we visited, but they were doing their best and it was worth the wait. Really nice stop on our road trip home from Hume Lake.

Such a cute place practically in the middle of nowhere! They get plenty of business from travelers coming from and going to King's Canyon, and lines could be long. If you're patient, it will definitey pay off. The frapps are awesome. I had a blackberry white mocha because it was so unique. The lemon coconut white chocolate cookie was to-die-for, as I imagine the other cookies are as well. Worth a stop!! After your visit, run across the street and buy some cherries or a pie from the sweet family with the fruit stand.

We dropped by this place on our way to the National Parks. The food was unbelievable good and the espresso was pretty good (as Italians, espressos are often butchered everywhere). The atmosphere was fantastic, cozy, welcoming. Good job, folks!

We stepped in for a quick coffee on our way to Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and were pleasantly surprised by this super cute cafe. We only got a cold brew (which was delicious) but the establishment was beautiful and looked like every single corner of it was built with a lot of thought and love ♥️ will try to drop by again to try more...
