Where do I begin. This restaurant has heart! ❤️After driving up the coast for hours my boyfriend and I arrived at our Airbnb in Bolinas and starving we rush to the closest restaurant knowing we are approaching closing time. The nicest guy (our server Patrick) says “we would never turn you away hungry!” In response to our frantic “are you closed!?”
We order, after Patrick patiently answered all our questions about the dishes (they all sounded so good). Never made us feel rushed! Impeccable service, delicious food, also knowledgeable about the product they carry. He suggested a red wine made locally in Bolinas!! It was amazing (I bought a bottle to fly home)!
And last but not least, the tofu curry I ordered was to die for!! I was in love. I don’t even remember what my bf ordered because I forgot he was there.. it was just me & the delicious curry😍🤤

I paid $2.25 for avocado on this veggie burger and felt jipped but the 3 tiny slices of avocado I got. To sub a salad instead of fries was $3, plus a ridiculous split plate charge if you wanted to share. The people in our group that got eggs were equally as unimpressed. The one thing I'll say we enjoyed was the garlic and...

The service from our greeting from the GM, to our server, and the rest of the wait staff was so friendly, attentive, knowledgable about the food, and over all created a great experience for my family and I. We sat next to the fire at a four top which made for a cozy ambiance. We ordered a bunch of stuff, the 1/2 crab, clam chowder, house made sour dough toasted with olive oil and garlic, the vegan seasame tofu, fish and chips, and belgium waffle for one of my sons. The food was delicious and satsifying. This great experience was a highlight of our visit to the north bay and I can easily count the Coast Cafe as one of my new faves...
