El Flaco Taqueria — Restaurant in California

Every time I come here it is fantastic. They have provided multiple tastings of their food to try and I have enjoyed everything. The meat tastes like it's cooked on a grill, not like other fast food places where it seems boiled. The nachos are top-notch, the tacos and burritos are out of this world, and the portion size is great. I do have to say that you will be wanting to come back often! I hope this mobile restaurant opens a brick-and-mortar store. It definitely will do well.

This is a twice a week stop for me. Breakfast here I come.

I have one last item, food, good food, takes a little bit to prepare. Staff/owners have always been working diligently to provide a quality product. They love what they do, just spark up a conversation and you will see. If you order and want your food immediately, you should probably stop off at a drive through. This place takes a few minutes to get the order, but by no means a long time. A person can easily order, eat, and still make it back to work on a lunch break. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes to get an order, and mine are always multiple orders. 100%...

Found this place quite a few years ago, and always go back off and on because the food is pretty consistent. If you had it before, it's always the same. Tacos are, under $3 and not a bad size. I always get the wet burrito. Very good flavor. I can say it seems smaller now than before... Used to fill diagonally in a styrofoam container. The new box is smaller, see pics.

But it's still great! The carnitas are fried so they get nice and crispy before they make the burrito which I think gives it much better flavor.

Prices are not bad, regular burrito is 7.99. compared to some places that charge 16 for one that's a good price as is the price of tacos.

The staff is awesome. I asked tons of questions about an item and they didn't mind.

They do offer some items not on the menu but rather on a stand up board... They have had champurrado before. The last time I was there they had ...caldo de res, menudo, pozole, albondigas, taquitos de pollo and a chilerelleno. I could not read the rest there due to the rain washing it out.

By far the most delicious and Authentic tacos in Fresno. I’m from the Mexican American border of Nogales, Az and Nogales, Son and Tacos el Flaco have continuously healed me when I start getting home sick. They are quality tacos with homemade tortilla and their meat grilled with mesquite is admirable and makes all their tacos delicious. This is a place to come and find joy in Quality food. They are not the biggest tacos but they are delicious and super fare for the price. I’ve tried their pozole and it’s simply delicious not greasy or heavy after consumed. I love their asada, Al pastor and carnitas the most 10/10 but the rest are super good I just love the mesquite flavor on the meat. Quality over quantity and you will find it...
