We tried this for the first time, not a very good experience, we ordered a shrimp taco and got fish taco with a cold tortilla, we complained but lady argued that we had ordered a fish taco, she wanted to switch it to shrimp but we decided to keep it, we ordered mix shrimp, crab tostada, they looked good but the crab salad and octopus were frozen, we complained to the manager/owner, he offered to replace the order with Quesabirria, that took away the bad taste of the frozen sea food, we enjoyed the Quesabirria after all, they should stick to birria plates and forget...

Been going here since I was a kid for over 20 yes. The tacos are always good some say they're a little greasy but that's what gives it flavor. The Chile Verde burrito is always good as well. Service is always quick and the girls taking your order always make you feel welcomed. It's not the biggest place in the world but I think that's what makes it standout compared to the other la Mina's 20 mins away in Bakersfield. You can also find the owner there most of the time greeting customers as well....

Every time we come to visit family in Bakersfield we drive out to Lamont to La Mina. They have excellent homemade food. We have eaten tamales, menudo, quesa birria tacos, and their breakfast burritos on several occasions. Everything is always hot and delicious. If you have to wait a little it's because it's homemade.
