Louie Oliver's Restaurant & Bar at Harrah's Northern California — Restaurant in California

I really wanted to like this restaurant, but the customer service was terrible. Not one friendly staff member in the restaurant and the bartender was not attentive at all and acted as if we weren't sitting there waiting to place an order. He was too busy chatting with a women on the other side of the bar. I could see if it were a very busy time on a weekend evening but it was Tuesday night with hardly any customers. So we moved to the outdoor seating area and waited another 10 or 15 min and still no one to place an order with. The waitress passed us a few times as if we weren't sitting there. Mind you this was our first time at this casino/restaurant so we didn't know what to do but kindly ask excuse me but can we order a drink. We asked if we were supposed to wait to be seated outside (hardly any customers there) in order to put in an order and she said sarcastically "well if you weren't seated by someone than no one would know you're here" however she passed us several times to attend to the one other table of customers and not us until we approached her. Finally she took our order, about 20 min later we were still waiting for our bill for two drinks, so we approached a different waitress at the bar to pay and she rudely cut us off when asking where to pay and asked what we ordered in the middle of our sentence. Overall, very rude customer service and I'd never go to this restaurant again. All of the other staff throughout the casino were very friendly...

My husband gave me a surprise of taking me to Harris Northern Casino to Restraurant Louie Oliver’s Resturant. As soon as I got there the waiter ask me if I had. Reservations I than apply to her no . So she proceeded to tell me that they were full but She than took a second to see if any table was available but than all the seat was empty and all the waiters was standing talking doing nothing. So I decided to sit in the bar have glass of Wine than lunch . But I notice that the waiter was so overwhelmed with 6 people that I was in shock and asking my self why is this man so overwhelmed. He proceeded to come and ask me what I want I told him I wanted sparking water but before that he was such in a rush he didn’t even had time to say hello or be nice . As soon as he approached and gave me the sparking water I took a sip and notice it was water only. I proceeded to let him know that he did a mistake and he right away with those big angry eye and told me it was soda water I disagree and he still told me it was soda water with a attitude. I was so mad that I told him he did a mistake but he refuse to accept it . I than finish and decided to go . I tell you right now Food was great service es very bad from the bar to the restaurant. They need to train them before management put them to work . You have lost a clients because I would never come here to eat or drink again . So sad because that restaurant has a lot of potential to give a 5...

My wife and I had an amazing time at Harrah's Northern California off Coal Mine Rd in Ione, CA. We enjoyed both Louie Oliver's Restaurant & Bar and the After Dark nightlife! The live music and vibrant atmosphere made for an unforgettable evening. We especially loved the seasonal salads, the appetizer menu, and the After Dark menu’s chicken wings. The $5 drink specials were a great bonus too! It’s so nice to see live music in the area, and it was a great place to meet up with other locals and friends. The rock 'n' roll bands truly enhanced the experience, and we’re excited to hear more in the future.
