I just want to say. The business provides the atmosphere, not necessarily the location. Because the location is awesome. The food was very good. But I witnessed the "owner, obviously very drunk, get loud and out of line with multiple customers tonight. I rented a house for the weekend and had a great time in Discovery Bay. Aside from the atmosphere tonight my family had a great weekend. The gentleman who got very loud and out of line sounded British from accent and was very pleasant at 1st. But quickly went off the wall on a customer and kept saying he was calling 911 on the calm customer. Everyone in the restaurant looked very confused including the staff and completely changed the mood and made the atmosphere uncomfortable. If ever there was a business owner acting as a "Karen" this was it. My table of 5 left just after witnessing this. As well as other tables and bar tops. Pretty much clearing the place out. This place could be a hit if ran properly by appropriately gracious vendors. This was my 1st experience here, and on our next visit to Discovery Bay will find other options for dinning
So after seeing your 1st response apologizing for my experience, get changed to you stating you weren't drinking the alcohol I watched you drinking. 😂. To claiming the customers were yelling at you. That is ridiculous. You are adults and business owners. Please act like it. I must say you just proved you are a Karen and business owner who does not care about creating a positive experience. But just trying to prove you are right. I had a horrible time at your restaurant due to your actions . I felt like cameras were about to pop out and chef Ramsey was was going to tear your head off for such terrible service. If you do have camera in the place you can obviously review your own actions. Which I hope you do. A.A or N.A based on your approach and response might be needed.

In response to your questions: Were you seated by our host or did you seat yourself? I was seated by your hostess. When did this happen? This happened on May 25, 2024. We were seated around 3:30 PM and left around 4:30 PM. Why was no server assigned to your table? That is a question for your staff. Was this during rush hours?

Read moreCame here the first time and had shrimp tacos on a Tuesday evening. I came here again on a Tuesday afternoon & was informed the shrimp tacos are only available on Tuesdays after 5:30. Today (which is Tuesday) I came after 5:30 PM, & the same waiter was helping us. I ordered the taco special, not aware that is was the asada, but I was expecting the shrimp tacos. I asked the waiter & she laughed and told me it changes every week and mentioned that "she never heard of that before" for the taco specials. As a local resident and pregnant with cravings, I was very disappointed to be turned down the second time. She mentioned that they have shrimp, but cannot make the tacos.
