Nena's on B St — Restaurant in California

Their order to go service sucks! I wish they would write them down .. They usually forget my order of rice and beans and normally I get over it. Here and there we'll make a big order and somebody's order would be missing or the orders were wrong. We'll call or send someone back and they would say we didn't order that, in which we did and they would know of they would write them down. Sometime this month I had ordered 2 asada tacos with everything and all I got were tomatoes and some burnt pieces of asada, it irritated me but again I got over it. Today we made an order and we asked for bacon on the burger basket, we come home and no bacon in the burger. (I'm not sure if we were charged for it)... I love their food, its always great when we eat there! I just hope they start buying notepads and pens! I understand mistakes happen and they do get busy but it's happening constantly. If this problem were fixed I'd give this place 5 stars. But for now 3 stars because the food is great just the to go service sucks especially when your happy to start eating and it's not what you wanted or how...

First time trying this restaurant because we heard it was really good. We got there a little after 1pm not too busy since there was several open tables. We wait in line since it says to wait to be seated and even though the lady at the register saw us walk in she had us waiting there while she kept helping others for a good 5-10 minutes until we approached her and sat us down herself. We get our order taken within another 10-15 minutes, again not busy, and finally we get our food....rice was plain even I can make a better rice at home, beans were decent and my milanesa was eh. My boyfriend ordered pozole which was good but had a lot of bone in it instead of meat. During our meal there we had the waitress come to our table once to check up on us and we had to ask for the tab because once again not busy but no one would stop at our table. Bottom line I would not...

This was my first time here. I've heard about it before, being so wonderful, but I had never gotten a chance to try it until last weekend. The food is absolutely delicious! The handmade tortillas are even better!! A good tortilla makes the plate for me. I had the Chile Colorado. My husband had carne asada quesadilla&Chicken Enchilada combination plate. Both plates came with rice&beans. Outside and inside dining. Our food was at our table in less than 15 minutes, it couldn't have been more. Everything was nice and hot when it came to us. I can't wait to take my family there, I think they'd really enjoy it. The waitress was very friendly, patient, and attentive, which made the visit more pleasant.
