So so disappointed with EVERYTHING to include the incident with the actual owner herself.
Let me start by saying that we've been here MANY times, we've invited friends, family from out of town and have RAVED about how wonderful the service, the atmosphere (we're veterans) the patriotism, I mean there was really no down side to this place unit this horrible experience we had on Sunday March 16th.
Where do I start.. Since I had a party of 9 I had sent an e-mail requesting reservations, which they confirmed via e-mail, when one of the party guests arrived they didn't have my reservations but they got us in. Our waitress, gosh I wish I knew her name (young Hispanic girl), came over to take our order and wouldn't really talk, her form of communication was looking at the next person at the table to take the order, luckily we picked up on that cue quickly. We got our drinks but there was a problem... my sister in law ordered a hibiscus mimosa, it came out and the mimosa had pulp and it tasted like grapefruit. Last time I checked hibiscus didn't contain pulp and it was a DEEP red; Meanwhile we're waiting for coffee refills to NO avail, our waitress was MIA, one of our guests had to call a staff member which happened to be the owner, we told her we needed refills and informed her about the mimosa. She came back with refills and a new mimosa (identical as the one returned with PULP), and I told her it didn't look like hibiscus and she immediately became EXTREMLY defensive and said "I WATCHED HER PREPARE IT" my response was, well as long as I've been around hibiscus is pulp free, well that took her over the edge... it was a back and forth with her, so unprofessional considering she is THE OWNER. She eventually came back and apologized and brought back a mimosa with grenadine (to simulate the color of hibiscus)β¦ But a mimosa with grenadine? Come on!
Anyhow, the experience as whole was just a mess and I felt so disgusted with what we had all experience. but wait there's more, it gets worse.. I went to pay my tab, and noticed that I had been charged extra for cheese, when I asked for NO cheese, i told our waitress who was also the cashier at that point and she ARGUED with me that we had asked for EXTRA VEGGIES? WTH? at this point I just wanted to get the HELL OUT! She removed it with great hesitation as she sighed and moaned with anger. I told her we were going to split the tab 3 way's 3 veterans with ID's) and she said she couldn't and wouldn't give us the discount. At that point I was DONE, you hear me DONE! I said fine just give me the tab, at that point she grabbed the receipts and literally THREW it at me!!! YES, you heard right! My friend (former Marine) told her "You didn't have to do that! She got extremely defensive and denied it all even thought there were 3 witnesses. THESE YOUNG ADULTS DON'T KNOW HOW TO ACT AND DON'T UNDERSTAND THE SIMPLE CONCEPT OF RESEPCT, SHE NEEDS TO GO! But then again we live in a society where emotions are catered to and respect is long gone!
HUGE, HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT, I WILL MAKE SURE I LEAVE A REVIEW ON EVERY PLACE I CAN SO PEOPLE WONT HAVE TO EXPERIANCE THE...
Β Β Β Read moreHonestly extremely horrible first experience, me and my family showed up after church and it took 20 minutes not bad pretty good, we ordered food and our drinks (water) and 1 tea and a coffee at the same time and it took 10 minutes to get drinks again kinda long but not horrible we waited 30 mins for our food we understood because they were packed, then 45 minutes kind of long now, and keep in Mind no refill for any of our drinks we had to willingly stop and ask our waiter to bring us refills, and the crazy part was there was about 3-4 employees just walking around doing nothing, finally an hour goes by and new people have sat next to us, im talking parties of 3-5 people they ordered and they were waiting too so we just assumed they were just really busy until 1h and half passed and the people that arrived after us got there food and Iβm talking about parties of people 3-5 and two tables who got their orders before us, and at this point weβre extremely frustrated and hungry, our waitress kept getting moody for us asking throughout the entire time we waited, finally 2 hours passed and the families next to us have finished eating and were in the process of paying while we hadnβt received one plate, we got up and left, and Iβm almost 100% positive they didnβt give us our food because we were a Mexican family, and literally everyone in the restaurant was white, and im talking biker white extremely racist and a complete waste of time, half the day spent waiting for nothing we got up and left and they still had the audacity to charge us for a drink and a coffee, if anyone knows having to wait for this amount of time and we were definitely gonna be forced to wait even longer the common courtesy is to comp the drinks at least, being that it was 1 water 1 tea and 1 coffee and only received one refill throughout two...
Β Β Β Read moreFor the past five years this has been our go to restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The last couple of times we've noticed a decline in service and timing of the food. This morning was the worst experience we've ever had. The restaurant was busy around 10:30 AM.and our wait was not very lengthy at only about fifteen minutes for a party of three. Being that we've dined there many times, we knew exactly what we were ordering without looking at the menu. Our waitress took roughly 10 minutes to greet us and we immediately placed our order with her, which was only one lumberjack meal with a side of home fries that we would split between my husband and child. Every time we asked for something it was like a burden for her to bring simple items like napkins and hot sauce. Roughly 35 minutes goes by and she brings a couple plates stating that the food should be out shortly. We ended up waiting a total of 50 minutes before bringing to the front desk Management's attention that it was just too long and my husband had to go to work. We offered to pay for the orange juice that we consumed. Thinking that they would be apologetic, understanding and offer to comp for the inconvenience, but no, they decided to charge and go about even claiming that there were plates on the table and insinuating that maybe we have eaten our food already. My husband has been in restaurant Ownership/ Management for quite some time and this is not how an establishment should be run! There is no malice in this review, simply for the establishment to better themselves and create desirable experiences for their guests unlike the one...
