Raven's Nest Deli — Restaurant in California

This place was close to where we camped for the night so we stopped in for breakfast. Amazing spot. Great vibes, talked a lot with locals about the airport etc. Service was perfect. Food was amazing and the fruit was so much better than the grocery store. We bought a loaf of homemade bread which they sell. Easily the best homemade bread ive ever had, I got poppy seed, they had a few options. Our meals were perfect proportions and were prepared to perfection. You could tell that the cook put his heart into it. If we are ever in the area again, we will gladly support this...

Small restaurant adjacent to a glider airport/flight school. It faces the runway on the second floor. Fun watching the gliders take off (tow plane), soar, and land. You order at the counter and they deliver to you Food was very good and fresh! 1/2 sandwich is plenty big and the red, white, and blue salad was delicious, served with a slice of their homemade breads - either banana-apple, poppyseed or lemon. Would easily return if we lived in the area! So sorry I forgot photos...

Excellent little breakfast and lunch spot. Fly or drive to the airport.

They specialize in breakfast. Excellent omelets. For lunch, they have the fanciest chef salad I've ever seen on a paper plate. Or if you prefer, soup, sandwiches, or chili dogs.

It's hard to have a nicer day than to eat breakfast here, get a Discovery flight in a glider, stay for lunch, and watch the other gliders take-off and land.

Children delight in seeing a twin of Disney's Dusty towing the gliders...
