Tacos Don Toño — Restaurant in California

Appears to be a family business with EVERYONE helping. At first impression, the place was very clean looking. Not a large menu on tv screen to pick from, but common mexican food choices. What impressed me the most was the lightning fast time it took from ordering, to the table. Barely got comfortable sitting before food was already on its way. WHOA! The salsa station looks to have very fresh items. The prices are very inexpensive compared to other restaurants. Only minus is the food. Missing on the flavor meter. Could be because the food has been heated for awhile and not cooked to order. Hence the fast service. Overall, I would give it a chance for improvement. Would go again, but hope the food...

Like several other people have noted the quality of the food has declined since the conversion from a taco truck to a restaurant. Went the other night and all of the meat was dry and flavorless. We ordered shrimp, asada, carnitas and tongue and they were all equally bad. It was overcooked then sat around in a warmer. Antonio, his Wife, Family & Crew are totally awesome. We’ve been customers from when he 1st opened ip his Taco Truck on Hwy 63 just outside north Visalia.
