Tacos El Afro — Restaurant in California

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Bland, flavorless, and BONES in food. So be careful chewing. My friend and I have never tried this place but we’ve heard great things about it, for whatever reason because I can’t think of one good thing about this meal, because we have never been here naturally we pretty much got every single taco that this person has on their menu. There were bones and the tacos, it was flavorless, and bland. Now let’s go to the consommé, i’m not sure if this ““ “chef”knows how to make consommé but it’s definitely not with short rib and just beef broth… Again flavorless and bland. The Rice is a joke and definitely not Spanish rice also no seasoning whatsoever… And the beans are just whole beans without any salt or anything… I really don’t know how everybody likes this place because it’s honestly a joke do not spend your money here or waste your time on this place.

I'm a carpet installer and I live in south central la I was assign for a job in palmdale I finish like around 8pm and saw el afro taco truck near were a was working at so me and my worker stop to give it a try the worst experience ever we order 4 tacos and we almost was going to a 1 hour wait thats when I realize that all the car that were there before us was people waiting for there orders so I went and got my refund back the female there insisted me to wait like another 15m more for my order and I told her nah I'm good I'm not even hungry anymore I told her it was ridiculous to have all that much people waiting for there orders and she smile and told me to have a good night 😴 meanwhile me and my partner are tired and hungry and have a long drive back...

The food was really good. What made me decide to try them out is that they have keto tacos which are $3 and keto quesadilla for $9. Basically they use cheese as a shell. I asked which would be more filling and they said it's pretty close to the same but quesadilla has a little more cheese. I got the keto quesadilla with carne asada it also came with onions, cilantro, and salsa inside. They cut their asada super small but it was still really good. Make sure to squeeze the lime on it. I got my wife the loaded fries with carne asada also. The keto quesadilla was really good the only thing is it didn't fill me up but for $9 each I think one is enough for me. Next time I'll get 3 keto tacos and see if that...
