We stopped by Taqueria Diaz for a late lunch after cherry-picking in Brentwood, on our way to Tracy. My wife was wanting something spicy, so after checking Google reviews, we decided to give this spot a try—and we’re so glad we did. We ordered four tacos and a bottle of Coke, totaling around $16. Since the restaurant doesn’t have indoor seating, everything came neatly packed in to-go boxes. Each container held two tacos, a slice fresh lemon, pickled jalapeños, and radishes. On the side, they also included grilled onion and pepper, still warm and full of smoky flavor. And, a bag of taco chips was included three different salsas. Every bite was simply amazing—honestly hard to describe just how good the tacos were. The meat was perfectly seasoned, and the balance of spice, acidity, and freshness was spot on. As a bonus, one of the staff kindly offered a rice milk dessert with cinnamon, which was delicious and comforting. Though it’s a slight detour off the main route, Taqueria Diaz is absolutely worth the stop. If you’re in the area (or even if you’re not), don’t miss this place—it’s a hidden gem. Keep in mind that there is no indoor seats.

Welp I've come update my review.... This is my second time here and they've dropped the ball... The food was nothing like the first time... They were terrible, the beef was dry and tasted old.... The pictures were from the first time that I visited..... I don't recommend that you eat here!!!

We tried the shredded tacos and the grilled tacos. I preferred the shredded (withe cheese and avocado sauce) and hubs preferred the grilled (with red salsa), but both were decent. Chips and salsa came with the order. Service was good for our short interaction. This place is connected to the gas station; the only toilet option is portopotty. They had a lot of hand sanitizer out,...

Absolutely the best. I Love everything they make. Such a great vibe too. Walk in and music is usually playing and the ladies are singing along while they work and cook. Food is never better then when happy people cook it with love and believe me they are happy and you can tell they love what they do. Try their crunchy tacos.....delicious, but then again, everything...
