Taqueria Los Gordos — Restaurant in California

In response to the owner, this happened at the Winton location. I appreciate you responding saying you will make it right. Although I do not get on Facebook so sorry I cannot contact you on there. I've ordered from you guys since 2000 me and my family will continue to order I love your food! I just don't like when I don't get what I pay for. If it was one thing wrong, I probably wouldn't have even left the review but there were just too many on this order. Yes the food was still good and edible but... Brown avocado just looks nasty and if that's what their serving customers not only does it look bad but that is very mean to give people brown avocado.

I brought my daughter for a lunch date. Called in our order for 2 gordo burritos, 1 sope, 1 small horchata

They forgot the onions and cilantro in BOTH burritos.

They DID NOT put the sour cream that comes on top of the wet burritos.

And I'm paying extra for avocado "I hate when they use the brown piece" it looks so ugly and nasty. If you look at the picture of my untouched sope, they literally put one piece of avocado 🥑 how cheap and skimp of them. One brown piece 🤮 Serve paying customers better so you are not known for things like this.

When I see bad reviews for Los Gordos I thought people were exaggerating or because their race but this happened to me and I'm giving a truthful experience. I'd rather eat your food. I just want you guys to make it right the FIRST time. I love your rice,...

We have been going to this place off and on for the last several years. When the food is good it's GREAT...but about 50% of the time our order is wrong, and badly wrong. I eat the SIMPLEST item you can make: A chicken quesadilla with sour cream (crema), it's the only thing I ever order because I cannot eat anything else there. My husband LOVES Mexican food but for many reasons my stomach cannot handle it. A basic quesadilla is easy to make, quick, and should be no problem. Wrong. Tonight was the last straw. My quesadilla had some sort of chili hot sauce on it, and diced onions throughout...neither of which I am allowed to eat, so I now have to throw out 90% of it ( I tried scraping most of the onion and sauce off and adding extra cheese, it didn't help). It's not just my food they make wrong, my husband is allergic to corn tortillas and what do they use for his tacos? CORN tortillas. He can handle it, but it's just one of many screw ups on our orders. The food is good when it's what you order, but...

One out of the three Birria tacos I ordered had small bones amongst the meat. Not a huge deal but kind of scary. They also only used one tortilla, so my meat juice broke the tortilla. Torta I ordered was good but not amazing. It’s just that when you’re paying high prices for food, you expect amazing results. Tamarindo fresh water was good but it’s 5 dollars for a large. When did prices get so bad. Paid 25 bucks for everything just to feed myself. I definitely think it’s not worth the price for the quality and taste. The bad economy is not an excuse to diminish quality. At this price, the quality should be amazing. Most of the times I’ve eaten here have been good, but this was my first time...
