I have to say that I am so sad to have to give this restaurant only two stars.
I was so excited to see that the restaurant was being revamped we live a quarter-mile from the restaurant and we watched them build it and tonight we finally got to eat there.
I do have to say that I did place my order online which could have been a mistake not sure will have to try in person one more time but here is my review for today.
Today we ordered a kids burger with bacon and cheese we ordered a barbecue chicken wrap we ordered chicken tenders and fries cheese curds and a tower of onion rings two of these dishes came with fries.
The fries that came with the kids burger were completely soggy and cold the fries that came with the chicken tenders were super hot because that was what we were waiting for the chicken tenders were also hot but very disappointed the chicken tenders are store-bought and had veins in them which kind of ruined the meal for me with the chicken tenders. The cheese curds were a huge disappointment I love cheese curds and I have to say that these cheese curds were not filled with much cheese had lots of bread on them were fried at a temperature to high because all the cheese fell out of them they also tasted a little stale and hard.
When placing the order online it tells you that each item comes with two sauces and so I did with our meals we should’ve got a total of six different dipping sauces we only received four sauces total and two of them were the same that was a little disappointing that we didn’t get to try all the sauces.
The onion rings were mostly burnt and extremely greasy but they were crunchy so that was a good thing I would not order them again.
I don’t think I would order anything again that I ordered tonight very disappointed but will try to go back in person and try a pasta dish to see how that...
Read moreA disaster in action, and no one cared. 45 minutes for a burnt burger, burnt cheese curds, burnt fries, a cold lifeless chicken wrap that sat in the window for 15 min. During the 45 min wait we got to enjoy a show of: a waitress holding a child and fighting with her husband in the dinning room; walking in on a bussmann using the facilities without bothering to close and lock the door, I, exposing him to the dinning room when I walked in on accident; an unsecured art piece falling and smashing, then spreading glass everywhere the floor; a guy sweeping under our feet while we were eating; and to top it all off, a manager or owner that basically did not care when we told him about the burnt food. Basically most of our food came from the freezer, was deep fried to inedible and the atmosphere was almost hostile in volume, kitchen music blaring and children crying. The only thing that bumped this to a second star was being able to scan the bill, pay electronically and get the hell out. My ears were ringing, and I was still hungry. To top it all off, I found out on the way out, there were dinner specials we were not even made aware of posted in the door, since we had entered from the outdoor area. This would have been a choice, since the chicken sandwich I wanted was not available. Again, not told until I was ordering. Makes me sad that they spent so much $ sprucing up the place to serve such sad, frozen, burnt food in a tense environment. I am sad because we live in walking distance and prob will not go back because no one cared that...

What a cool spot I came across today out in Boulder Creek. They have a great selection of appetizers, including potato skins with all my favorite things – cheddar, bacon, green onion, and sour cream. Who could ask for anything more? I did not have this but it will be on the menu for my next visit. I will also definitely be trying the Garlic Cheese Curds as well.
I ended up having a delicious Mandarin Salad with chicken and a sesame dressing that was perfect – not too dressed, and the flavor was perfect with all the ingredients going so well together. I would definitely recommend it. It was light, yet very refreshing, and was made fresh and brought to me NOT as a pre-made wilted salad.
Next up, you have lots of burgers to choose from and they all pretty much look amazing! I want to try the Hihn burger since it reminds me of a western burger. It has an onion ring, cheddar cheese, bacon, BBQ sauce, on a brioche bun with fries. MMMM MMMM MMMM!
So many delicious options here it was hard to just narrow it down. This is how they get you to keep coming back since you will have a list of yummy things to try when you come next time.
The most important part is the service. Excellent customer service. The employees might as well have been the owners – that’s how good the service was!
Thank you...
