We were at Joshua tree and wanted to check out this town and found Johnson’s landing. Service was impeccable! We haven’t had service this good in forever being from LA. Food was so good. We had loaded tater tots (server recommended even adding thousand island dressing to it and that made it even better). I also ordered the western burger which was massive. It was flavorful and delightful. Our server Lorilee (I hope I didn’t butcher the spelling) was the best part of this experience. She was friendly, attentive, and just overall had a great personality telling us about the restaurant and the town. They are about to close for the season but definitely want to come back when they’re fully open again. Oh and she gave us her specialty — a peach cobbler cinnamon roll dessert for the road to take on our long drive back to LA! An absolute angel. It was so freaking delicious I can’t wait to...

My family and I came here after going out for a desert rip on ATVs (Steve’s ATVs is 5 stars too!) and we’re starved!

We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, chicken taco salad, chicken tenders, and club sandwich… and all of us were blown away!! SO TASTY and the portions were great! None of us are stuffed to the gills, but very comfortably full. Food was left on the plates, regrettably… it was all so good!!

Didn’t take photos of the food because it disappeared into our faces so rapidly. Will absolutely come back and hope we will be served by Tony again… can’t wait to try our cherry pie to-go after dinner...

We stopped in for a few drinks and lunch on our drive from Joshua Tree to San Diego. Would highly recommend driving this way to see the Salton Sea, other landscape along the way and to visit this gem. It was one of the dinning highlights of our trip! Such a fun spot - the staff here are great characters who make the dine in experience enjoyable. The food was delicious and great value. Serve ice cold beers which were needed on a warm day.
