Most ridiculous interaction I’ve ever had at any restaurant. Ordered tacos with sour cream at the drive through, get my food, park, there’s no sour cream on the tacos, I checked 3 of them to make sure. We’re all human, no problem. Go through the line again, wait for the people in front of me to get their food, pull up to the window and said ā€œhi, these were supposed to have sour cream on themā€, she rolled her eyes and grabbed the bag. Saw her set the bag down next to her, waited like a minute and she opened the window back up and said I needed to go around the building and pull up to the window again. I’ve already had to go through this line twice, if I go back to the end of the line by the time I get my food it’ll be cold so I said no, I wanted to wait. Some kind of supervisor or manager comes to the window and tries to tell me there shouldn’t be a problem because they didn’t charge me for sour cream. I hold up my receipt and say ā€œum, yes I paid for itā€ so then he looks at his screen and says he can’t see my order. Why are you trying to lie and say I wasn’t charged for it when you’ve obviously not even taken a second to look at the order/transaction???? So then he switches to lie number 2. ā€œThe kitchen says they put sour cream on itā€, totally contradicts his first lie that I never ordered/paid for sour cream. I said ā€œno there wasn’t I checked 3 of themā€ meanwhile I can still see the bag of the food I handed back sitting next to him. He never opened it to check, just staring me down, lying. I’m sorry is your argument that I just love going through the Taco Bell drive through? I had nothing better to do?? Why would I do that?? I’ve simply asked that you give me what I ordered and paid for. Absolutely ridiculous!! My advice, 1st of all don’t go here, but if you do make sure to get a receipt because they will try and lie and say you didn’t pay for it. Also if something is wrong with your food, take a picture of it, because apparently they’re also gonna try and lie to you and tell you that there was nothing wrong (contradicting their first lie that you never ordered or paid for your items). Unbelievably ridiculous interaction. Photo for proof that yes, I paid for all my items.

Had some food delivered for an easy Sunday night, but probably should have sucked it up and done it myself. I don’t get what is going on at this location, but it seems that evening shift royally sucks. My son’s taco was a JOKE. We even paid for toppings and they weren’t put in. There was barely any meat. Some other items were under filled. It’s NOT HARD to measure the same amount each time. The very basic of fast food is consistency and it seems workers don’t care to even do that. For management: If you like making money, fix these things now. Did you know your location ā€œruns out of meatā€ almost every time I’m there in the evening? Maybe you need to pay your employees a better wage? Update, August 2025: The owners must hate money… it’s the only logical explanation, aside from them deliberately reducing portions and not allowing enough beef to be cooked. Why is night shift still a joke? Food is still barely filled with ingredients, orders are messed up, running out of meat. If you get there any later than 9-10pm, you will be disappointed. You close at 1am…if you can’t keep the food at least ā€œedible without pissing off your customerā€, start closing at 10pm.

Disappointing. Even for a Taco Bell. I like the one in Elverson better. I ordered 3 Cheesy Gordita Crunches and a water bottle. I get charged for a water bottle like I expect to. I pay and the lady was nice and all that, but when I get to the second window, The team tries to hand me a cup of water. They say they ran out of bottles. Again, it happens no big deal, but I don't want to get charged for a water bottle if I got a cup of water. But not one of the 3 people I talk to can understand why I want to get refunded for my water bottle. Then they just happen to have a water bottle left. I don't make a fuss, I just take it and leave. Then I get home, and I see that the one food item isn't completely wrapped and it spilled out and made a hole in the bottom of the bag. The food was pretty good though, so I can't completely give 1 star. And the lady that took my payment was nicer.

I don’t recommend this Taco Bell for vegetarians. Taco Bell made a huge push in offering more options for those who don’t eat meat by offering black bean and I’m sure it’s brought a lot of revenue but it made me feel like I could enjoy something from childhood again. Refried beans are not vegetarian. Beef is not vegetarian. Yet every time I go (save for one time) I end up with a mouth full of beef.

For some context, my body cannot process meat or meat byproducts properly after 10+ years of not eating it and I will end up with food poisoning like symptoms. This isn’t just me trying to make employees do more work or make special exceptions/substitutions. It is right there on the menu. Take it off the menu if you can’t properly train your staff to pay attention to detail or even listen to an order.

I’ve been betrayed so many times that I take apart my crunch wrap fully before eating. Drive throughs are not an ideal place to skin a crunchwrap. I repeatedly have to go back in and ask the staff to remake it with black beans. The one time the Crunchwrap was right, I was given a beef taco. I’ve been given refried beans a few times as well. Kinda done with this place. I’ve repeated and clarified black bean but even if it’s right on the drive through screen, it still comes out wrong. At this point it just feels spiteful.

From what I’ve heard from my bf, their meat isn’t terrible and what’s expected of Taco Bell. Their black beans are great when they actually use them. Even if you like meat you’d probably like the black bean crunchwrap. Good luck trying to...

CAUTION Don't go to this store. This place deserves less than one star. I've been to this location (Downingtown) many times, and I hate to say that it's worse than the Exton location. Most of the time, they will get your order wrong. If you go through the Drive-Thru, you better check your order very closely because chances are it'll be wrong. I was there recently, and discovered the order was vastly wrong, so I went through the Drive-Thru again. I mistakenly trusted that they would get it right the second time, but No. It was even more wrong than the first time. Because this was the 5th or 6th time that they took my money without giving what was ordered, I drove back and went into the store. I showed the food to the first young worker, who agreed it was unacceptable. But then another young worker (male with dark curly-ish hair) came forward and said he was brought in to fix this store, but he didn't want to hear from any customers, and he refused to assist. I eventually got a refund for that botched order, but its about $100 short from all the other times that this store has gotten away with taking my money but giving me a fraction of what I ordered. I'd like to say it's just a mistake, but it's not. It's an attitude at that store, and they will take your money but not give you the food that you ordered. Shameful! Don't go there. If you go, it just encourages more...
