Most ridiculous interaction Iāve ever had at any restaurant. Ordered tacos with sour cream at the drive through, get my food, park, thereās no sour cream on the tacos, I checked 3 of them to make sure. Weāre all human, no problem. Go through the line again, wait for the people in front of me to get their food, pull up to the window and said āhi, these were supposed to have sour cream on themā, she rolled her eyes and grabbed the bag. Saw her set the bag down next to her, waited like a minute and she opened the window back up and said I needed to go around the building and pull up to the window again. Iāve already had to go through this line twice, if I go back to the end of the line by the time I get my food itāll be cold so I said no, I wanted to wait. Some kind of supervisor or manager comes to the window and tries to tell me there shouldnāt be a problem because they didnāt charge me for sour cream. I hold up my receipt and say āum, yes I paid for itā so then he looks at his screen and says he canāt see my order. Why are you trying to lie and say I wasnāt charged for it when youāve obviously not even taken a second to look at the order/transaction???? So then he switches to lie number 2. āThe kitchen says they put sour cream on itā, totally contradicts his first lie that I never ordered/paid for sour cream. I said āno there wasnāt I checked 3 of themā meanwhile I can still see the bag of the food I handed back sitting next to him. He never opened it to check, just staring me down, lying. Iām sorry is your argument that I just love going through the Taco Bell drive through? I had nothing better to do?? Why would I do that?? Iāve simply asked that you give me what I ordered and paid for. Absolutely ridiculous!! My advice, 1st of all donāt go here, but if you do make sure to get a receipt because they will try and lie and say you didnāt pay for it. Also if something is wrong with your food, take a picture of it, because apparently theyāre also gonna try and lie to you and tell you that there was nothing wrong (contradicting their first lie that you never ordered or paid for your items). Unbelievably ridiculous interaction. Photo for proof that yes, I paid for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt recommend this Taco Bell for vegetarians. Taco Bell made a huge push in offering more options for those who donāt eat meat by offering black bean and Iām sure itās brought a lot of revenue but it made me feel like I could enjoy something from childhood again. Refried beans are not vegetarian. Beef is not vegetarian. Yet every time I go (save for one time) I end up with a mouth full of beef.
For some context, my body cannot process meat or meat byproducts properly after 10+ years of not eating it and I will end up with food poisoning like symptoms. This isnāt just me trying to make employees do more work or make special exceptions/substitutions. It is right there on the menu. Take it off the menu if you canāt properly train your staff to pay attention to detail or even listen to an order.
Iāve been betrayed so many times that I take apart my crunch wrap fully before eating. Drive throughs are not an ideal place to skin a crunchwrap. I repeatedly have to go back in and ask the staff to remake it with black beans. The one time the Crunchwrap was right, I was given a beef taco. Iāve been given refried beans a few times as well. Kinda done with this place. Iāve repeated and clarified black bean but even if itās right on the drive through screen, it still comes out wrong. At this point it just feels spiteful.
From what Iāve heard from my bf, their meat isnāt terrible and whatās expected of Taco Bell. Their black beans are great when they actually use them. Even if you like meat youād probably like the black bean crunchwrap. Good luck trying to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCAUTION Don't go to this store. This place deserves less than one star. I've been to this location (Downingtown) many times, and I hate to say that it's worse than the Exton location. Most of the time, they will get your order wrong. If you go through the Drive-Thru, you better check your order very closely because chances are it'll be wrong. I was there recently, and discovered the order was vastly wrong, so I went through the Drive-Thru again. I mistakenly trusted that they would get it right the second time, but No. It was even more wrong than the first time. Because this was the 5th or 6th time that they took my money without giving what was ordered, I drove back and went into the store. I showed the food to the first young worker, who agreed it was unacceptable. But then another young worker (male with dark curly-ish hair) came forward and said he was brought in to fix this store, but he didn't want to hear from any customers, and he refused to assist. I eventually got a refund for that botched order, but its about $100 short from all the other times that this store has gotten away with taking my money but giving me a fraction of what I ordered. I'd like to say it's just a mistake, but it's not. It's an attitude at that store, and they will take your money but not give you the food that you ordered. Shameful! Don't go there. If you go, it just encourages more...
