Joeys should have received five stars! Customer service is everything!!! Politeness courteous, accurate, professional, alertness and always have a people!! I was there Monday evening and the cashier had ONE OF THE MOST NASTY UNPRFESSIONAL ATTITUDE!!! NO CHARACTER AT ALL!!! I SPENT OVER $30.00, RECEIPT WAS ACCURATE BUT FOOD WAS TOTALLY WRONG!!! SHE LIED SAID THAT SHE WAS A MANAGER WHICH IS NOT BECAUSE NO MANAGER HAS CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS LIKE THAT.. (AFRICAN-AMERICAN FEMALE 5'5, BROWN SKINNED COMPLEXION, TATTOOS EVERYWHERE, HAIR IN A PONYTAIL W/DRED LOCS & VERY RUDE!!! THE POLICE WAS EVEN CALLED!!!! NO PERSONALITY WHAT SO EVER EVEN FABRICATED ABOUT BEING A MANAGER!!! SHE EVEN CAUGHT AN ATTITUDE W/2 OTHER GENTLE MAN. ONE OF THEM KINDLY ASKED FOR A CUP OF WATER.. WHY DID HE DO THAT(PAYING CUSTOMER),SHE LITERALLY TOLD HIM BLANTLY NO!!!! THE OTHER MAN WALKED OUT CUSSING HER OUT BECAUSE HE DIDNT WANT KETCHUP ON HIS HOT DOG(PAYING CUSTOMER)!!!! SHE HAD NO SOFT LIKE SKILLS AT ALL.. NO PATIENCE, NONE COMMUNICATION , NO EMPATHY.. PROCESS THE WRONG ORDERS.. SHE IS NOT A GOOD FIT FOR JOEYS OF RIVERDALE, IL. DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO INTERACT W/CUSTOMERS & THIER NEEDS!!! DO NOT LISTEN OR PAY ATTENTION TO HER CUSTOMERS!!! HER BEHAVIOR IS /WAS VERY UNACCEPTABLE.. I MOST DEFINITELY WILL ADDRESS THE OWNER & MAYBE EVEN THE BBB. NO ONE DESERVES TO BE TREATED BY NO ILL MANNERED ,RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, NONE CUSTOMER SERVICE INDIVIDUAL!!! I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE AGAIN!!!!...

The young girl with the 2 ponytails had a very nasty attitude!!!!!!! This was my first time at this location,won’t be going back based on her alone. I’ve never had a burrito this small,BUT it was tasty. Wasn’t tucked and rolled how I’m used to,but that’s not a dealbreaker. I bought mine with only cilantro,onion and cheese,paid under 12$. The drive thru moved pretty quick. From the window it appears to be clean inside. I didn’t feel unsafe sitting in the drive thru. I can deal with everything except for the nasty attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day,me too! With that being said,I didn’t take my bad day out on her…..even after her nasty disposition I maintained my composure because they’re dealing with my food. I've been to a lot of barbecue restaurants in my time, but Joey's Barbecue is one of the best. The food is always delicious, and the service is always excellent. I recently had the opportunity to dine at Joey's again, and I was once again impressed. I started with the RIBS which was moist and tender, and the smoke flavor was perfect. For my sides, I had the mac and cheese and the potato salad. The mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy, and the potato salad was tangy and flavorful. Overall, I had a great experience at Joey's Barbecue. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.
