The Hawk's Nest Bar — Restaurant in Cambridge Township

This is the worst place we have ever been to, and I feel bad the waitress has to work for a place like this, ish. We order, great. 10 minutes later find out they ran out of ribeye, so my husband had to order something else. Nearly an hour later (there was only two other tables other than the table finishing up their meal) no appetizer, yet, we ask about it. The waitress was kind, and said the cook didn't show, she said her boss is cooking, few minutes later, she comes out with all the food!? Appetizer, and main course... My daughter and I went to the Hawk's Nest at about 2:30 on a Saturday, so it wasn't crowded at all, service was swift and our server was very friendly and polite. We had the coconut shrimp and walleye sandwich. Both were perfect! Perfectly breaded and flavorful. I will definitely return but am stuck on getting one of these two dishes because they were both so great! Stopped in to watch the Vikings game. Plenty of open tables with view of large screen TVs. Beer was super cold and cheap. Taco meat is made piccadilla-style with diced potatoes, perfectly seasoned, and served with fluffy deep-fried flour tortillas. Delishious!
