Amateur's Bar 'N Grill — Restaurant in Cambridge

We have eaten there many times and always had a good experience. This week was different

Our waitress was rude and seemed like she didn’t want to be serving us. I told her thank you several times with no response. Once she brought us our drinks and an app she basically ignored us the rest of the time. She was either sitting at the bar, with her back to us, playing on her computer or holding to door open for a kitchen delivery. I asked her to take our order and she said after I hold the door for the delivery guy.

When the food came,’it was very marginal and the waitress never came back with our check. And she never asked if we wanted another round of drinks. And the final straw was we had to pay at the bar. We ended up leaving without taking...

We've been coming here for three years. Stop in every three months or so. Over the last year the service is horrible. I guess because we are not friends of the waitresses. I see others getting served. We get one beer and never asked for refills. The last 6 times we have had to walk up to the bar to even pay. This time the waitresses cleared tables on both sides of us and my empty beer was at the edge of my table. Completely ignored. Then she left the building. I don't know what the deal was. Food is great, standard bar fare. Atmosphere is down home and there's almost always a game on the TVs. The drinks are well mixed and the beer is good and cold. The specials change daily and there's plenty of space. They have a popcorn machine for snacking and a small space for pool away from the dining area so no one is tripping over other patrons.
