Carol's Kitchen — Restaurant in Cambridge

After missing Katies and Kay's a new place has opened up at Cambridge Airport. We flew down there Saturday for lunch. Walking in the area is light and airy and still a work in progress. There was good crowd there which hopefully means success for them. The service was a bit spotty, new server and I think a bigger crowd then they anticipated but everything worked out well in the end. The kitchen was pretty fast. I ordered a burger and was surprised how big the obviously hand formed burger was. It was cooked exactly how I wanted and delicious. The crinkle cut fries were also very good. The only complaint is the menu is very limited. This maybe a good thing seeing the quality of my burger and fries but time will tell. Definitely...

This is the first time we have been there. The service was good, place was clean but the food was questionable. The last time we were here it was Kay’s. I would give them 5 stars. The quality and quantity was awesome. The quality of the food at Carol’s was just okay. My husband got the meatloaf and said that everything was just okay. The broccoli was good but it was just warm. The mashed potatoes were from a box. There was a lot of meatloaf & potatoes and a full cup of broccoli. I got the fired chicken which I had to wait for my breast to come out so I ate a thigh. Carol's Kitchen is a hidden gem at the airport, and I had a wonderful experience there. The new location is bright and inviting. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, which really added to the positive vibe.

I had a classic breakfast of eggs, bacon, home fries, and coffee, and it was just what I needed. My friends enjoyed their bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches too, and everyone was pleased with the quality of the food.
