Morse Mountain Grille — Restaurant in Cambridge

02/22/24. 10 of us for dinner at 5:15 pm with 4 little kids. A challenge. We sat in the bar area. Hostess said we could not move tables together. Ok, we sat down apart. We then asked our waiter if it was OK to move tables together. He said sure no problem. Clayton was our waiter. We did. We had a great time. Drinks were terrific, he did the kids right. Put the kids meals in with the apps so it came out quicker. All adult meals were terrific. Chicken pot pie, Cobb salad, barbque burger, shaved brussel sprouts salad, chicken sandwich, and rib platter. Then Clayton brought out a piece of cake with a candle for our 4 year old birthday girl. 02/16/24. Sat at bar for dinner. 2 of us. Nice tender. Ordered nacho platter. It's huge!!!! After that we shared on 1 entree for dinner. Fish and chips. Very tasty. Drinks were appropriately priced and generous.

02/21/2023 problem today... Ordered 8 dinners to take out. Food was terrific. Called in order and received a text 30 minutes later ready to pick up. I worked in the service industry and I know the need to tip generously, especially these days. I was told when I picked up the order no need to tip it's already added. 22% for a take out order!!. That was a 37.50 tip. Mmmm. I let it go.

02/17/2023 Sat at bar for drinks and appetizer. Tender was super nice. Nachos with Buffalo chicken was huge and delicious 02/18/2022 Food was excellent. Grilled chicken pub style burger and fish and chips. OH, we also had the new England clam chowder. Very good. Waiter......

The hostess was rude and dismissive. The ramp for handicapped and strollers was uneven and unsafe. My grandmother felt as though she was going to catch some air going up and down the ramp. This is due to the improper upkeep of the ramp and the grate near the end. The service was at a sloths pace and the took over an hour to get us our food after they didn’t have several items on the menu and only told us after we had order our drinks and appetizers and were getting ready to order our meals. They didn’t offer a compensation and or apologize for the poor service. When the food finally came the fish and chips was a single piece of fish and a plate full of fries. The salmon was about .05 pounds and had zero flavor. Then for a group of twelve they charge us gratuity. Then, when the check from our table to be signed, they did not include the gratuity as a separate section on our bill. And continue to ask for an extra tip on top of the fact that they were already getting extra money. So all in all, if you like slow service, mid food, and having rude hostess and horrible handicapped situations. You...

I've been here quite a few times and that's because it has great food, good options and the staff is always awesome. This time, I just wanted something light and I tried the flat bread pizza. I could have eaten two of them because it was so GOOD! I was so surprised that something so simple was done so perfectly. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal but I wasn't expecting anything so simple to be so noteworthy. We've been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed in anything.. Not the food, not the service, not the cleanliness. Considering it is an on premises restaurant it is also quite surprising that it is not expensive. This is definitely worth a visit. I will be returning next time I'm in the area and not just out of desperation or laziness because I don't want to travel off the resort, but because I enjoy the food and the service...
