This place is really nice and the food was very good. I would recommend you call for a reservation early in the day as by the time I did they had no more slots but we only ended up waiting 30 min on the wait list which was nice. We ordered a lot of food for six people >$375+ total spend without any alcohol so let me break it down. Main Course 1.) Fillet was an excellent cut for the two people who got them and a very nice size. Cooked exactly to order and amazingly soft texture and mouth feel. 8oz in size and every bit of that. Both people who each got a fillet were very satisfied. 2.) Strip Steak, again an excellent cut with just the right amount of fat, still tender and cooked to perfection. 3.) Crab Cakes, These were good but not great but for a streak place above average. 4.) Pork Chops, excellent in everyway with a nice sauce glaze to them. 5.) Rack of Ribs, these were cooked perfectly, each rib pealed right off and the meat came off with zero effort. Now the taste, the ribs were extremely heavy on the smoke, now for me who loves a heavy smoke flavor I loved them. My wife though likes a soft smoke and didn't. These ribs were basically black in color because of the sauce and the heavy smoke. Not burnt at all just dark from the long smoke. Appetizers 1.) Stuffed Peppers, excellent and very large, could be a dinner on its own. 2.) Beer Battered Cheese, this were mind blowing and the table dominated these. Everyone wanted more. 3.) Stuffed Mushrooms, fairly small sized mushrooms and stuffed with the same filling as the crab cakes. Loaded with cheese and cooked really well. 4.) Scallops, tender with a nice mouth feel, actual appetizer size in terms of portions. Sides 1.) Spinich, cooked perfectly, very tender. 2.) Mash and Gravy, a rustic mash which I prefer and a good gravy. 3.) Baked potato, big in size and they don't skimp on the sour cream and cheese. 4.) Buttered Noodles, the used the wide thick boy noodles which I personally love so I found this to be rather delightful for such a simple dish. 5.) Broccoli, really big size and steamed perfectly. 6.) French onion soup, they always have this on the menu and it was very good. 7.) Soap of the Day, Beef and Potatoes in a brown broth. Honestly this fell short for me, the beef was tender, the potatoes were just right but that broth just seemed to lack any real flavor, it tasted fairly bland and salt and pepper were not enough to rescue it. It was very average but by now means inedible. In regards to price your going to have a heavy spend for beef of this quality, no way to avoid that but it's honestly not much more than Texas Roadhouse and the steak is much better here.

I usually give people the benefit of the doubt. That being said, here was my experience (December 2024). We called ahead the bay before to make sure they had room for 7. They said yes and that no reservation was necessary. Upon arrival for lunch, we were accidentally added to a room with a private party. We were seated away from the other group in the back room. After some time, the people in the party wanted us to leave. It was only after my physically disabled nephew arrived. Could be a coincidence. We were then moved to the outer porch area (our choice). However, after nearly an hour of waiting , we were given our appetizers, but no drinks other than water, in spite of ordering a whole bottle of wine. We decided it was time to leave. No apologies given and their seemed to be some kind of arguing amongst the staff in the back. The food was ok, but I felt like they skimped in the chips for an appetizer for a group. Overall, I would not go back to this place because the food was ok, but the service was terrible. The vibe was not there!

We went last night for the first time. Been coming to Cambridge for a few years to Deerassic Classic and just recently heard about this restaurant. We'll definitely be back. Food was delicious, drinks were amazing and our server was fabulous!! So I tried my husband's Bloody Mary, not a favorite, to me it tasted like a watered down cocktail sauce but it wasnt mine and he said it was okay. Tried my friends Malibu Rose, very refreshing especially if you like pineapple, my favorite was the Strawberry mule! I had TWO! I got the ribeye and ate every last bite with mashed potatoes and zucchini and squash. We had the cheese curds, amazing. Our friends had the artichoke spinach dip, awesome! I tell ya, we all love food and this is definitely a place we'd recommend coming to! We loved everything about it. I posted a few pictures, I didnt get our friends dinners.

As soon as we reached the stop sign to turn on the road right by the restaurant, we smelled an extremely unpleasant sulphur odor. We had to park pretty far from the restaurant (not an issue I usually park far anyway), and right by where we parked there was what appeared to be a leech bed, which was the source of the smell. They were extremely busy, but they provided us the option to eat at the inside or outside bar, or wait an hour to be seated in the restaurant. We chose to eat outside, and the sulfur smell was not as strong on the bar patio. We were able to sit at a table right away outside (the front staff did warn us it is first come first serve outside). Our server was really great, kind, courteous, and attentive. I ordered the Strawberry Mule, it was pretty good, but I think I caught a faint taste of well water, which I don't really mind, but someone who wasn't raised on well water may not know why it tastes that way. I ordered two of them, so I did like them. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and cheese curd appetizers, the mushrooms were how you would expect them to taste. The cheese curds were fantastic, I LOVED the batter. I ordered the ribeye, which is $38, medium rare. I received a New York strip, which is $34, and it was cooked medium well. I didn't complain because they were extremely busy, and the entre took a while to come out. It also tasted really good and wasnt dried out. I ordered asparagus (1.50 additional charge), which were very basic. My husband asked for some extra greek salad dressing, and I dipped the asparagus in those. I would not pay an additional amount for those again. The sweet potato fries I ordered were from a bag, and came with straight maple syrup as a dip (nothing spectacular). I gave a 3 out of 5 because with how much everything costs, the food should be on point, and it wasn't. We did enjoy the live singer...

I wish I could give negative stars on a review. We were put on the waitlist at 4:27 pm and told 20-30 minutes. At 5:17 pm I asked how much longer and was told 10 minutes at least, we were finally sat at 5:50 pm ( waited way longer then the 20-30 minutes we were told ) ordered our drinks and appetizers and you wouldn’t believe it if I told you but the apps came out before the drinks!! I mean what the heck is that?!? Our order was taken at 6:08 finally after almost 2 hours of my life wasted waiting we finally order our food, the wait is over or so I thought Almost and hour later our food was dropped off at 7:06 pm. But all that waiting didn’t matter because I’ve been craving steak for weeks, I’ve been starving myself all day just so I can enjoy this juicy steak that much more, I have never been more excited in my life to tear into this piece of meat like my caveman ancestors! I cut into this steak and boom there’s the cherry on top to the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my 26 years, the steak which I ordered medium was mooing at me, asking me to be put out to pasture. A steak place that charges top dollar for their food should know how to cook a steak, but unfortunately they do not. So I urge you fellow steak lovers do not eat here! Unless you like 3+ hours of your life wasted for nothing. 3 hours of my life I will never get back just to leave hungry. I hate the bears den I even hate Cambridge now a little more for them allowing this terrible stain in their city. In conclusion if you want steak go to Taco Bell and get the steak quesadilla you will thank me ( also writing this review while I wait for the rest of my party to finish and they are charging me for the pop I drank, couldn’t even offer me a free drink for all my pain...
