We found Beaver Dam Restaurant and Marina on our anniversary this November and We Love it! First and most important, the people there are very friendly and the service is fantastic. Hidden Treasures,. Sitting in a little cove off the Tennessee River,. This Restaurant and Bar, was a pleasant surprise. From the appetizers, of fried okra and fish bits, that where not burned of raw,. But a succulent balance. To the Steak and Shrimp that was cooked exactly as ordered. Without drowning in spices or sauce. But rather a fine cut of beef that was delicious. Visited here today for the first time. Apparently they were really busy because a large group came in and gave them no notice. The food was good, the cook actually came out to help the bartender/waitress because it was almost at capacity and everyone was ordering food. Meal came to about $45, I asked the young lady how her day was because I could see she was stressed a little. When she said ,"could be better" I decided to tip her a good size tip.
