Thanks for responding. I see you didnt mention anything about over charging, that is what i was referring to when i said its a scam. Also opening a bottle at the bar has nothing to do with watered down drinks. Liquor to additives ratio is off. If everyone is allowed to smoke outside then remove smoke free section signs. Shrimp must be jumbo in Camden not in Philly. ORIGINAL REVIEW - Traveled from Philly to Camden. Wanted a chill spot with good food, good drinks and good music. I got one out of three. The dj was the best thing in this place. Drinks are watered down and a double shot looks like one shot and somebody can't count. It's no way $20 plus $16 equals $46 even with tax. For $16 i need bigger shrimp and butterflied, that platter shouldn't be more than $10...$16 is ridiculous. Watch what they charge you..they write stuff down no actual receipt for food bill. 8 fried shrimp with fries and cole slaw is $16 (didn't receive cole slaw) i asked about it..server never came back....seafood boil (clams, mussels and a couple shrimp) was $20...really!! no crab legs and its $20???.server said thats $46 total how sway?? server finally came back as i was writing this to let me know they ran out of cole slaw...this place has a lot of potential but scamming people out their money is not the way..got the drink bill (actual receipt) margarita was 3 something and a shot of tequila was 2 something I guess that's why they are watered down..that's on the cheap side.. so it is what it is..feel sorry for the neighbors I would need free drinks everyday to live next door to an outside bar lol - new addition to review...I'm under a no smoking area sign but yet I smell smoke..hot mess. Gotta go now - lost my silver hoop earring by table 3 so if it's found please...

Bookers Lounge Is By Far The Happening In Camden…Well Lit Outside…Gives A Safer Feel…Very Friendly Atmosphere…With The Current COVID Situation…You Have Options To Either Sit/Dine Inside Or Out Back…I Love Being Out Back..There’s A Gazebo Type Setting With A Covered Roof Which Is Great For Inclement Weather And It's Enclosed During Colder Weather With Heating Lamps Throughout…Seating Outside The Gazebo Area As Well…A Bar…Outdoor Grilling…The DJ’s Are ALWAYS The Best!!!…Easy Accessibility On And Off 676…A Couple Of Weeks Ago My Niece Traveled From My Home Town (Asbury Park, NJ) To Hang Out With Me At Bookers To See A Local Artist Perform…Not Only Did We Enjoy Ourselves…She Was Quite Impressed With The Security At The Door!!!…The Atmosphere…The Friendliness Of The Crowd…And The BANG BANG SHRIMP!!!…The Experience Was Soo Great…She’ll Be Back This Weekend!!!…I Recently Celebrated My 50+6 Birthday This Past Weekend At Bookers….I Had Family And Friends Come From As Far As Asbury Park New Jersey…To Just Across The Bridge From Philadelphia…Camden Gets Such A Bad Rep…Some We’re A Little Leary At Invite…However…To Their Surprise…They Felt Safe And Enjoyed The Bar And The Upstairs Bar Where My Party Was Held…They/We Especially Appreciated Roselyn!!!…She Was Very Dedicated To…And Always Is…Making Sure They/We Had A Great Time… In Which We Did Thanks To Her And Her Great Staff!!!…And All The While She Still Maintained The Daily Functions Of Her Facility…Roselyn Is The Best And Always Very Nice And Cordial She’s The Reason I Love Love Bookers Lounge …Needless To Say…My Family And Friends…Will Be Coming Back To Bookers Soon…Thanks Rose For...

So last night was my first experience at Booker Lounge and was happy to know that the crowd was 35 yrs of age in older , but at the same time my experience was horrible. We waited 40 mins. before we got services . The bartender who served us did apologize for the wait . However, nothing changed . We waited another 40 mins for another drink nobody even came to ask was we okay or needed anything . In when gave the complaint to the owner she never apologized not once but what she did do after bringing back our drinks tell us last call . So we went to the other tent where there was ppl at while we finished our last drinks that we order and here comes five mins. later she had security walk up to the two of us at this time bcuz the other person left for the night had security tell us it was last call and they where closing mind u it was only a little after 1 and they open to 3am and it was 10-12 other ppl still in the tent that security never said nothing to or he would of made a public announcement if they really was closing . She had guys looking like they was the clean up crew serving food to people. Instead of kicking us out for telling her about the wait that was so Long she should have apologized and fix...
