Standing in line to order the person working the register stopped taking orders of customers that had been standing in line for over 5 minutes for a phone call, she placed the order of the person on the phone rather than put them on hold and service the customers who were standing there with cash in their hands. Also at this time the drive thru was packed to the point that the parking garage lot was blocked.
My suggestion to the owner would be that they instruct their employees to clear the line prior to taking phone calls and to let the caller know they will be placed on hold in order to help those who arrived prior to their call. Another suggestion would be the price. By increasing your price you will make more money for less work. Your employees look physically distressed at the amount of work they are doing. By increasing the price if demand stays the same you will be able to pay your employees better, or hire additinal staff, making for an overall better experience for them as well as customers by implementing things like online ordering.

Read moreDiner located in an old train depot with decently broad menu to choose from and fairly priced. Nothing is cheap anymore. That said, it's like stepping back in time a couple of decades but everything is clean and well maintained. I got a double cheese burger and fries and a rootbeer. The burger was was delicious and juicy, cooked on a flat top griddle. My fries were cooked to perfection...except none of them were longer than 1-3/4"...so only 4 gold Google stars. Everyone else got the normal sized ones. Despite that if you are passing through town it's worth stopping in for a meal. Clean up after yourself. It was pretty cool having a train pass by during my visit. Don't play on the tracks...that train...
Read moreI live about an hour away and we were passing through so we decided to stop your for lunch. It's been awhile since we've been here and things have changed. The chicken tenders are no good the Cole slaw is not very good and has to much pepper. Hubby said the fish has a bad taste and the fried pickles are not even good. It was expensive and I don't complain about cost because #1 they are a small business and I'll pay more for that and #2 everything has gone up but if I'm paying more for the same great food they use to have and the same portion I really don't mind but that's not the case here. Don't jack up prices and cut quality and portion size. Even the locals said it's no good. They only come...
