Big Dill Grill Restaurant Review
Tucked away on Lockhart Road in Kershaw, South Carolina, Big Dill Grill is a destination worth the drive. This standalone restaurant boasts a large free parking lot and a welcoming charm that makes it feel like home. Step inside, and you’re greeted by clean, rustic country decor—think warm wood tones, charming wall designs, and quirky cows in patterned booths that add a unique ranch-inspired touch.
Big Dill Grill opens bright and early at 6:00 a.m., offering a fantastic selection of breakfast options. Whether you’re craving hearty classics or lighter fare, their breakfast menu has something for everyone. For lunch, their extensive menu truly shines. Start with one of their many appetizers—my personal favorite is the Bam Bam Shrimp, a dish so good I’ve had it twice already.
Their lunch offerings include a variety of hamburgers, sandwiches, and even dinner plates. On my first visit, I tried the Yardbird Sandwich, which was satisfying and flavorful. This time, I opted for the Fried Flounder Sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious.
No matter when you stop by—breakfast, lunch, or dinner—Big Dill Grill serves up honest, genuine food that will leave you planning your next visit. If you’re looking for great food in a friendly, rustic atmosphere, Big Dill Grill is a...
Read moreMe and my wife have tried to give this small town place business since they opened the door. We have ordered out roughly 8-10 times. Literally every single time we have ordered, we have had something wrong with our food. 5 of those times warranting me to get back in my vehicle and drive all the way back there to get it resolved. 2 of those times being hairs in our food. This morning we thought let’s give it one more shot ( it had been a month or so since the 2nd hair incident). We ordered two sausage breakfast burritos. Get back to the house to eat and lo and behold there is no SAUSAGE on either of our burritos. Not to mention they used a reused Walmart bag for take out. (how do you know that Walmart bag didn’t contain the raw chicken that was brought home?) So we tried. Hope you all have better experiences if you choose to gamble your hard earned money, time and gas driving there. Does make you think though, if they have somebody back there cooking that can’t read an order correctly do they know to properly wash their hands when...
Read moreWe had the Alaskan Cod special. OMG! It was cooked perfectly. By far the best fish and chip I've had in SC. I gave a 4 star rating for the service for a few reasons. One, the server was carrying our drinks with her hands around the rim. One member of our group never uses a straw. Drinks should always be carried from the bottom, serving 101. Also she brought me the wrong drink. I drank it. And she forgot our coleslaw, not surprising since she wasn't aware of the special. I was so excited about the fish, I totally forgot about the coleslaw until the next day when I went to warm up my leftovers. However, it was still a better than great meal. Can't wait for the next...
