Would give no stars if possible! We stopped in and my fiancé insisted we try it! We sit down and wait for a good 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. Once they did they lay the menu down and the lady is rushing us to order. I ask how long ago was unsweetened tea made she just says “I don’t know probably not long ago” btw the tea wasn’t bad. However i order the “street tacos” for the south of the border section. Apparently who ever came up with the menu has no clue what street tacos are! They bring me 3 cold flour tortillas with dry chicken, lettuce, and shredded cheese with side of sour cream and chunky salsa like you buy for chips!!!! And even worse than that my fiancé ordered a hamburger plain only mustard, mayo, and ketchup with fries!! He gets a burger dry with lettuce, onion, and pickles!!! She brings to our table and walks off!! Obviously from the look on my face she can tell I’m not happy at all and walks over and asks what’s wrong so I tell her about the tacos and his food being wrong. I understand that it isn’t her fault that the tacos were listed as “street tacos” instead of better luck going to Taco Bell. But why bring a burger out that you know is wrong??? She even said I’m sorry was my fault but never asked could she take it back and get another!! I have eat at lots of diners across the country and this by far was the sorriest I have been to!! Oh but the...
Read moreOrder was wrong, asked for the Western Omelet WITHOUT green peppers. The omelet looked pretty when it came out but was full of green peppers. Sent it back and got a runny omelet with half an onion chopped in it, all the items to be cooked in it were on top of the omelet (see photo) then offered pie when we complained about the new "omelet." Never did receive the toast that was supposed to come with the omelet after we were told it was coming next. Cook was wearing a sleeveless cut t-shirt with his nipples showing, staff was flirting with each other, giggling and talking loudly. Acted inconvenienced over their mistake. Staff then were talking about us and was overheard talking about how they left the eggs runny. Waitress spilled a glass of water at the table (accidents happen) but left the rag on the floor with water still standing when we left and the soaked napkins on the table until I put them on a dish to be removed. We live in the area and have been several times. This was the WORST experience we have had here. Come to think of it, it is the WORSE service we have had probably ANYWHERE in the world. We do travel a lot in the USA and...
Read moreThis used to be our go-to for breakfast when we traveled through town. Since they remodeled, it’s not great. The sign said “seat yourself” but there were no clean tables. We were seated for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were there. We finally got to order, but it took 50 minutes to get eggs, bacon, hash browns a pancake and an order of biscuits and gravy. I’m pretty patient, but we could have built and cooked everything on a fire faster then that. Our waitress was very apologetic and was hustling to keep our coffee full while we waited. The other waitress was not in any hurry at all. There were a few men who walked from the other side of the building to the kitchen several times, seems like they could have done something to help. We were there an hour and 15 minutes, 15 minutes of that was eating lukewarm food. Breakfast is an easy meal to cook, I have no idea how they will handle lunch an dinner. We left our payment in cash at the table because we didn’t have another 10 minutes to wait at the cash register to pay. If you don’t have the staff to cook, serve and take money, don’t open. ...
