Blue Door Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Campbellsport

This review is being made in response of a very unjust and unfortunate decision made by the ownership. I will not disclose details to protect the people affected.

The staff are always talking to one another, gossiping and leaving out socially awkward or disabled employees. They often ignore the customers, and I’ve occasionally heard them back talk or make rude comments to the customer or behind their backs. Most often about the pace of their ordering.

The staff are also always on their phones and generally show no interest in their own job. That alone can be understandable, however at times this can slow down the whole establishment.

Finally, this establishment values relationships between the employees rather than the employees themselves, constantly firing trusted people in favor of inexperienced and often rude new blood just because they’re related to or friends with existing employees. This level of instability with staff shows in how the business operates.

Overall, the food, beverages and atmosphere are fine, if not slightly burnt and always changing, but the practices of the leadership and ownership make me believe this establishment does not care for the people helping it...

☀️Sensational, customer service, and good at the blue door Café. Thank you Kim for always suggesting delicious goodies for me each time I come through which is about once a week from Appleton. I really enjoy the blue door café because of its location, comfortable table and chair settings, super clean, sparkling atmosphere. Positive helpful, and friendly staff, a wide assortment of delicious and quality baked good food, coffee, and tea in which I’ve tried many things on the menu. All delicious. And even very clean attached bathrooms. Yes, that’s a big thing because many cafés and they do not offer bathrooms especially at malls.

I would highly recommend the blue door Café for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. I understand they’re only open until 2 PM. I wish they would be open a bit longer. Overall great experience.

The staff is amazing. Thank you all. I’ll be back soon.

PS my favorite new cold drink is an iced Matcha with strawberry extract and strawberry foam. Simply refreshing and delicious.

I wanted something quick and easy for breakfast, instead of going to franchise breakfast place, I thought I would go through the drive thru for a quick bowl of oatmeal.

Two cars ahead of me, that can’t take too long right? Well, I waited 15 minutes before I finally got to the window. Placed my order and waited and waited and waited again. I think what finally happened was someone said why is this sitting here(talking about my to go box) she grabbed it and gave it to me and didn’t say a word.

Once I got to where I needed to be I was so excited to open up my oatmeal. Boy, was I disappointed. It was cold and honestly it looked like a ball of oatmeal cookie dough. I tried putting what they called fresh fruit on top of it to make it taste a little better and it didn’t do anything. Needless to say I wasn’t very happy...
