if a restaurant advertises 16 oz of mac and cheese, it should be referring to the net weight of the food itself, not the size or volume of the container!
theyâre advertising 16 ounces of mac & cheese and serving it in a 16-fluid-ounce container. This implies youâre getting 16 oz of food total but thatâs NOT what youâre getting. Not even close. Oz. refers to weight when describing food portions unless itâs clearly labeled as fluid ounces (fl oz), which measure volume- used for liquids. For a solid or semi-solid food like mac and cheese, 16 oz is generally understood to mean 1 pound of food by weight. If the container is 16 oz in volume (i.e., 2 cups), the actual weight of the food inside is significantly less. Worse, theyâre charging significantly more for the combo with brisket. you may think you are getting more food or more value, when in fact theyâre just getting less of the main item (mac & cheese) and not even 16 oz of total food by weight. Totally misleading.
What the menu should read: Mac & cheese (with or without out the brisket) served in a 8 or 16 oz CONTAINER so customers know itâs total volume, not food weight.
The fact that they are charging $22 for 2 cups of Mac n cheese with a couple bites of brisket is outrageous and insulting. You can get more 3x that in Plymouth with chicken for a couple more dollars. And itâs really good.
Sorry to say - We wonât be ordering from here again. Picture for reference how small $22 serving was. Basically a standard coffee mug of Mac n cheese....
Read moreFirst time for us, but wont be a last!!! Honestly we had difficulty in picking our meals, everything sounded so good!!! I ended up with the 2 meat combo, ribs and pulled chicken. My sides were the apple baked beans and slaw. He got half rack of ribs, baked spud and slaw! Our server was helpful in describing sides, vinegar slaw etc. As we waited for our food, we saw enormous plates of food for other diners. Those that were leaving all had take home boxes! Alas our food came!!! Ribs were a dry rub, with a dish of sauce. Beans were sweet and so flavorful. The slaw was equally as good!!! Now for the meats!!!! Omg the ribs were nicely done, juicy and extremely tender and did fall off the bone! The pulled chicken was juicy and tender and just so good!!! But honestly, the ribs had my focus!! Cornbread was sweet and tied in wonderfully!!! He sat eating quietly, which meant he only came up for air!!! He devoured the ribs, and sides!!! We both laughed when our server asked for dessert!!! Yes we both took home boxes of food we couldnt finish as other customers did. We both enjoyed our meal so much, we took pics to send to our friends for future visits!!! We will be back again, to savor more dishes!!! So nice to have a class act bbq in...

Being from Texas I thought yeah letâs try these. She had chicken sandwich and baked potato. First the chicken đ. It was terrible. The worst chicken I have ever tasted. IDK what that bird was seasoned with but it was dry and tasted terrible. My brisket was loaded with fat. Some is to be expected. Come on guys trim some of that fat off. The beans were too thick, needed mustard for some zing and had no heat. Sorry not â...
