Cheek’s Stew Life BBQ — Restaurant in Canon

This is the best BBQ from Royston to Hartwell to Toccoa. The stew is amazing . The beans blow your mind and the BBQ sauce (gotta be the vinegar )is hard to find because I have searched from Gwinnett to Anderson for a sauce I love and this is it . The smoked Mac and cheese is a household favorite and a must . The coleslaw is literally the only coleslaw I will eat from any restaurant .Even the green beans are superior to others. They also have baked potatoes. If you haven't had one you're missing out . If you haven't tried this place you should. I feel like I have been screwed just because I have only newly learned of it's existence. The owners are on staff and amazing ....

I was driving to Atlanta and did a very little D tour to find this place that I had read it was good. BEST PLACE!! I’m a foreigner and so was a bit annoyed about the fast junk food and struggling to find real American food. This is the place. Plus the lady and the cook were super nice. I got my combo box, I parked close by to enjoy it and after I finished they came and told me that they found that the ribs were a bit overcooked (I had really enjoyed them) and they wanted me to try the best ones that they had just finished. They got me a whole lot of more ribs! They were delicious! Real food, real...

Doc's Bar in Canon. This place is the real thing. Free pool tables. Best barbeque in the South outback on Saturdays from 11 am to 8 pm. I was there last weekend and asked them who they were rooting for, Michigan or OSU, and they said they only care about the Dawgs.

No disrespect to Southern Hart Brewing Company, but this is a real local bar, with great barbeque, pool tables and real genuine down to earth local folks and UGA fans.
