Tonya's Tavern — Restaurant in Canton Township

I never expect much from "bar food" , however... I ordered the buffalo chicken dip and for $6.95 was given a portion that is normally whar ketchup i s given in. Ordered lemon orzo soup and there was not a single piece of orzo. Mostly broth. Some strands of carrot and chicken and no lemon/citrus flavor. The fish was pretty typical of prebreaded and fried piece so it was ok. My friends wolfdale burger looked okay but not what he expected of the spice. Was quite mild for jalapeno and ghost pepper cheese but otherwise cooked fine. I don't drink so no reason for me to rush back. There is food on both sides of their establishment that i feel...

I almost hate to leave this bad review because the lady who answered the phone was super nice and helpful, but our food was not good at all. This was our first time eating here and unfortunately, we will not be back. We had a burnt deep fried appetizer and wings. The wings tasted like very old grease, and the 3 sauces, or lack there of, had a lot to be desired. Every sauce was exactly the same. It was a watery, buttered, somewhat what we ordered flavor of a taste if that makes sense. Had no flavor really. With all the wings next to each other, you couldn't distinguish which was which. It’s been a little while since we’ve been to Tonya’s due to travel, but now that we’re home, we can’t wait to get back there this week! Just talking with my husband about it reminded me how much we love everything on the menu — honestly, it might take me a week just to decide what to order.
