B's Drive In — Restaurant in Canton

Always love to hit up B's only way through Farmington. Usually for the ice cream. My family and I have had several of the many items on the menu. We love the bacon cheese burgers. Thick burger with crispy REAL bacon and melted cheese. You know it is good when you unwrap that greasy wax paper packaging that this is gonna be good.

The fries are really good too. I like mine with little to no salt and that is how the come. Perfectly prepared and an abundant portion. One order could feed 2 adults easily.

The chicken fingers and tenderloins are also pretty tasty so give those a whirl.

But if you leave not having a sweet treat, shame on you. They have a huge ice cream menu with new flavors each week. Too many to cover but my favorite is the flurry. Add in your favorite addins topped with whipped cream and a cherry. Can't go wrong. I love the coconut cream pie flurry.

My only ding is that they are cash only and wished they took cards. Otherwise this place is a gem and will be...

Stopped in while passing through on my way home from our west. Haven't been here in years and mostly stopped out of being nostalgic. First time here was back in the 1960's. Used to stop here when it was just walk up and very small. Grown a lot over the years and still very popular with inside dinning if you prefer, but walk up counter. Huge menu posted offering many food and ice cream items. My most memorable memory is this being the first place that I ever bought a Boston Shake back in the 60's. They said they still offer them, but too much for me this time around. I had a medium banana/vanilla twist cone. Boy! They didn't skimp on the ice cream at all. Was more like a large cone. Should have just ordered a plain old vanilla cone, since the banana was lacking in taste in my opinion. Maybe next time around I'll try that...

Everytime we visit, the prices go up, and the quality and serving size go down. They also charge a lot of misc charges for additional toppings that should come on standard items. For example, if you order a banana split and are willing to pay the price for a delux sundae, they also charge for each topping that normally is included. If you do not request the toppings, you will be suprised to be handed a sliced banana w 3 scoope of ice cream and nothing else. When asking why, you will then be informed it is your responsibility to request each item such as the chocolate syrup, fruit toppings, nuts, whip and cherry.
